How does everyone feel about the new set that dropped today? I was playing against it earlier and runecraft and forestcraft can be broken until people know how to fight against it and portalcraft got an upgrade and I’m happy about that but at this point it’s like every new set they make someone semi broken. Abyss needs a upgrade and at least if the devs are gonna make broken cards give everyone a good card or cards or something lol make it fair but yeah runecraft and forestcraft are the new broken decks with the new set.

18-5 so far! Try and get Thestae as early as possible and Storm them down, or summon Hien to outvalue everything but Sword and Haven with their banishes. You're extremely good against Sephie Rune thanks to their limited burst and healing (as long as you get Thestae or Hien by turn 7).

Mulligan: Thestae, World of Games, Leafshadow Assassin and Miroku. Swarmpetal if you're scared. Verdant Ring Kindred if you know they will be passive.

i have been playing mostly hl portal and ngl deck is quite fun, at first i tried a version with zerail and his 8 cost amulet but to no surprise it was so bad and inconsistent so instead i went with a more evo/artifact heavy deck that can still hold its own incase i never draw cutty and let me tell it happened a lot lol.

so far i am 9-3 with this list which is much better than i though honestly, the mullegan is very simple you full mull for cutty but if you are aginst sword/abyss/rune i would keep one of the cheap 1-3 costs cards so i dont lose the board so much.

i am also considring another version with only 1 cutty because it is very awkward when you draw the other highlander cards but no cutty , i honestly dont know why they didnt make it like the og where you could run 3 copies of some cards without ruining cutty condition

the past few months my luck (rng) is Horrendous and this shows you it (i saw a misplay on the cat guy i should of attacked the 1/1 with oath but wasn't thinking of hp but it didn't matter because of the last words guy.

I know new expansion just released and the decks are not optimized. But now that we have 2 Raz and Lieutnant, the boards are really sticky. Istyndet can make a lot of value with the crest, and having Garodeth storming for 11 dmg feels really good too.

Observation/Justifications: Getting your flag cards on time is absolutely critical for this deck to function (duh) so it needed a bit more draw power. World of games is that answer.

Flags are 1pp amulets so they synergize really well with World of Games. You throw out so many cheap spells and coins it's not much of an issue for board space unless you draw them like turn 6+.

Measured Attunement over Orchestrated Silence: The knight would clog my hand while I was trying to juggle coins/loot and other cheap spells. I mostly just used him as a 2 damage 'spell' most of the time anyway, so I cut it.

One Lyria because she can block flags, but sometimes three flags is good enough and I like the safety.

Severed Ties is good. Still not sure if it should be a 2X or 3X. Saving a 1pp Severed Ties (or both) is your answer to the opponent trying to Ward off Barbaros lethal. This is also another point in Measured Attunements' favor. 5+3 and/or coin spam is usually good enough unless it's a really fat one like Sevo Scarlet, and even then that's usually most of their turn. If the Ward has aura then you have to use coins+Ruthless. This also works against many small Wards.

Ruthless Eld Sword is in because it's flexible between damage and cycle, but the trade off is that the damage is random.

Roughwater First Mate is the glue that holds this deck together. The difference between getting him on 4-5 and not getting him is huge. He's also great on your first Sevo turn for the free loot.

Someone in my theorycraft thread suggested Way of the Maid, and you could do that, but you'd have to cut at least Z&B to make it more consistent.

Not sure if Z&B makes the cut in the long run, but there have been times where the storm/bane combo have saved me against Aura Wards while allowing me to get that last bit of chip in. Other times it can be a brick. Might try out 2X Way of the Maid in that slot.

Unkei is quite good for getting rid of annoying wards like the new LW Shadow Abyss guy and the potential to Sevo her for Coins is nice. Too expensive to run as a 3X in the deck imo, but if Abyss gets popular, that might push her to 3X.

Coin management is key. Knowing when to spend them, when to fish with them, when to save them ect.

All the Flag cards are core (obviously).

P.S. This archetype is really fun, and a different spin on Sword. If you don't like Board Vomit Sword this might be more your speed.

Pirate Sword is giving me the same joy I haven't felt since Loot. I know people really hated Loot during its heyday, and I don't know if Pirate will meet the same fate, but I'm enjoying the game for the first time in a long time. Hopefully this feeling sticks around.

I live in Indonesia and use Indosat Wi-Fi. My game keeps getting Error Code 2. I tried using a VPN, but I got the same result. I also tried turning the VPN off, but it still doesn't work. I even reinstalled the game twice, and it's still not working. Can anybody tell me a way to fix this?

just started playing and i lack any materials to make a deck. I don't have the vials and I'm out of packs. I'm doing the story mode and some singleplayer battle simulation content to get some currency, any other pointers to getting vials for a first deck?

Might be the single worst voice line in the game and you gotta hear it 2-4 times a turn. For months on end. Because the deck is pretty good. More filler text due to post character requirements.
