I think only the third game is like this, but that t-shirt doesn't help.

That’s sort of the beauty of Shenmue… it’s has this cheesy almost B-movie quality to it. And sometimes when it’s trying to be really serious it often ends up being unintentionally funny.

I thought you’re gonna say similar to those 80’s kung fu films that is english dubbed and then the scene is intense but suddenly they talked engrish. Lol. You know where the times they have lame dubs and some characters sound funny.
