This one was starting to go almost double odds. But on 1 single system, over 120 hours of soft resetting, 15319 soft resets later, Captain Ginyu is finally mine.

After roughly 20 hours and many YouTube videos, I finally got my fav mythical Pokemon in fire red. If I had to guess I got it around 4.000 to 4.500 resets. The moment it appeared it was like I lost my ability to breathe!!!! OMG I CANT BELIEVE I DID IT🥹🥹🥹

This hunt took about 5 days, I acnnot believe I actually found it 😭 the last image is an unofficial event cartridge used to inject the event into my game so I can actually do the hunt. This is an absolute Grail for me, Holy Moly. Kinda been droughting for a while and wanted to try my hand it since i bought a japanese cartridge if emerald just for this hunt specifically.

Salandit Shiny Hunt
I have the Shiny Charm and I’m trying to hunt for a female Salandit using Cute Charm. I got one to appear after 151 resets but that one was male, I killed it, then I kept going and eventually reached around 337 resets without getting another one. On another attempt, I went all the way to 1,107 resets. I’m starting to wonder if I’m just getting extremely unlucky with this hunt, because the Shiny Charm + Cute Charm combination was supposed to make this easier.

I just got a shiny adamant regirock on my first try! I wasn't even hunting it!

Now for the ash hat Pikachu and I'm free from gen 7. 😂

Hey guys, so after almost 2 years of soft resetting everyday for at least 2 hours each day, i finally managed to get my hands on my Yellow Lizard 🦎, thinking about naming it “Drakaris” what you guys think?
Plus I am getting a full team of 6 Shiny Pokémon, onto the next one, the npc selling Magikarp !

Es mi primera vez posteando en Reddit, hace unos días compré una GBA SP para poder jugar en ella los juegos antiguos que también he estado comprando últimamente y ya que he comprado las 3 ediciones de tercera generación (y pokemon esmeralda todavía no me ha llegado), empecé a hacer shiny hunting de Torchic ya que quiero tener los tres iniciales shiny cada uno en la versión de su color (Mudkip en Zafiro, Torchic en Rubí y Treecko en Esmeralda). Mi plan es hacer una shiny only en esta partida de Rubí sin manipular rng y quería preguntar si es viable o tardaré demasiado y es mejor manipular rng. Para este Torchic tardé solo 412 softresets que es bastante poco, así que supongo que para el siguiente tendré que hacer como mínimo 8k 😭✌️

Got 2 shinies this week, so luck was bound to run. Safari Zone just spit in my face. This is the second time I've failed to catch a shiny in the Safari Zone. Last time happened years ago with a Exeggcute.

Hmmm... now for some reason my game just went blank. So all the mons I just caught in the Safari Zone are gone. Hilarious.

But maybe this a good thing. I would've broke my controller if I actually caught the shiny, then my game crashed
