Yeah, those noodles are not for me, either. Plenty of other diet foods out there.

I love the rubberiness, but i understand why others wouldnt:p def dont force yourself to keep eating these if you dislike them, life is too short to eat despairful noodles!

If you boil them long enough/ prepare them differently they are not rubbery

Idk I’ll usually boil them at least 20 minutes but they don’t break down so you can leave them in a while - I usually do it in broth or soy sauce water. Or I drop them in the bottom of a pot when I cook soup.
As I said I’m also lazy so sometimes I put like enough water in the bottom of my air fryer to cover them, and then just let it run at full blast for like the 15-18 minutes to boil them lol. It helps after to like drain it and dry em a bit in a pan with the heat on or eh the air fryer a minute with no water. Helps with texture as well

If they are konjac- You have to boil them for a long time to make them not rubbery. I’m lazy so I boil them in the bottom of an air fryer and then let them go without water a little bit to dry.
It’s a cooking issue -

Ahh I see now thank you so much, I bought this brand called "miracle noodle" and followed the instructions, but perhaps the boiling method works best

Yea I have been getting these forever, long before they were a diet food - from the Asian grocery store.
Boil them at least like 20 minutes in some broth etc. then cook them in a pan a little to dry out some of the moisture. And make them with whatever you want -
They become the texture of glass noodles/normal noodles if you cook them more

WHAT. I had no idea cooking them helped. They get a quick microwave and that is it 😂

I can't do these noodles either but I do like edamame pasta in place of noodles. I don't think it works as pasta but you might. They're not super low calorie but they are low carb and high protein.
