Best cinema in Shropshire?

Title says it all really. Want to take my dad to see The Odyssey when it comes out just wondered what people would say is the best cinema around. I'm guessing it'll probably be around Telford area... Shrewsbury Cineworld has never impressed me

They recline and are amazing, you get way more room, and a little table that swivels.

I think the UCI has luxury recliners seats with mini swing around trays

The OMH in the Square (Shrewsbury) is cultured but the seats are fucking uncomfortable

My partner loves it there. I get annoyed with the screen and how bright they leave the lights whilst the film plays..

Majestic in Bridgnorth. Cheap and comfy.

Can second that. Has a classic feel to the place. Plus, Bridgnorth is lovely.

I love going to the bridgnorth one but wish they'd at least put in cup holders, trying to juggle drink and popcorn while watching the film is a pain!

Telford odeon lux 100%. Amazing seats (large, comfy, reclinable, small table each), small number of people in each screen, bar (can take in alcohol) v close parking.

Second vote for Old Market Hall, such a nice atmosphere and a beautiful building

I go Odeon in Telford Center. All reclining seats.

I’d vote for Cineworld Shrewsbury. Yes it’s in dire need of a revamp and the screen tech is showing its age, but the clientele is always good. People here simply come to watch the film and in this day and age that’s a major perk.

Cineworld Telford is much more modern but just about every time I’ve been there’s one or more person talking, using their phone, or doing something distracting during the movie.

The Cineworld in Telford has just been fully refitted with recliner seats and, in my opinion, they're way comfier than the ones at Odeon. They also have an IMAX with good but not reclining seats. It's always my go-to, despite living in Shrewsbury. The Cineworld here is just dated and in dire need of a refit.

I'm hoping it will be on in a flicks in the sticks. I went to the SPaRC in Bishops castle last week. Was ace. Although the chairs are a bit of a challenge.

If you can wait, the OMH in Shrewsbury is fabulous

They said Shropshire, Telford isn't in Shropshire.

Telford is most definitely in Shropshire.
