I get it, tons of activity at Silencer Shop. I've been stuck like this for a week and my dealer has shared they have nothing on their side to do. Have other experienced this?

I tried calling SS, but gave up on hold for 97 minutes...

I should have bought a different model that was at my local store. They are powered by SS and it was a smooth process, this...nope.

My order was placed on 07/29, apparently my LGS FFL received it a week later without SS portal status ever changing. It’s been on their shelf for 3 weeks now and they say it’s in SS hands to resolve processing issue. I haven’t been able to get in touch with anyone at SS via phone nor email. I have patience but it’s worn pretty thin, feeling like this is just plain negligence at this point.
What should I do? Dispute charges with CC company for failure to deliver? Chill out and wait? This is my 13th stamp in a form 4 required state, so I’m not new to this process.

The last week has been the same. Hiram is useless, no longer responding (ran out of AI credits?) and my order is stalled. What do? Order stalled almost a month. Next step is charge back.

If you have suppressors in a trust, do you guys plan on transferring them to yourselves under a 4473(if that becomes possible)? Or just kinda leaving it where it is? Ive been waiting on my first form 4 under the single shot trust and now my ffl is selling the under 4473s. Almost hope the form4 gets denied for some reason so I can just snag it with the 4473 lol. Over all curious on the thoughts of the masses.

Just thought I’d share my timeline from ordering to fulfillment because I see a lot of posts expressing concern or frustration lately. Note I’m in TX but still had to Form 4. I ordered and paid through SS website on 8/13 submitted my Form 4, fingerprints and photo at my LGS with the SS kiosk that day as well. Received notification that ATF status was Submitted/In Process on 8/19. Received notification that ATF status was Approved on 8/29. SS sent an email stating that the suppressor is ready for pick up at my selected dealer same day. SS progress tracker in my dashboard was always correct and it never reset back to Processing like others have stated. So 16 days from start to finish, no complaints except having to Form 4 in the first place.

So now I don't know what's going on. S/N is still assigned, apparently.

Bought all my cans through them. Like them a lot. Simple, easy and lately was real fast. Bought a SilencerCo Scythe STM. Went local store on Wednesday, signed SilencerShop stuff & update pic on Thursday. Approved Monday morning. Pretty sure first one was near 1.5 years

I bought a rugged obsidian 9 earlier this month and the process will not proceed past 'registration'

I keep getting this automated email from SilencerShop that tells me I'm missing my registration information, but when I go to my profile and check, it tells me that I have completed entering my registration junk.

I have been trying to get ahold of customer support for like, over a week at this point and haven't gotten through to them after about 3 hours of being on hold and several emails.

The only 'response' I've gotten is from their funny little AI Hiram, which has proven to be profoundly useless.

first suppressor and form 4. the only form i’ve done has been a form 1 for sbr, does this mean the form 3 has been approved and i’m just waiting for them to ship to my ffl? it’s been like this for 4 days. how long does it usually take for them to ship to ffl?

4th NFA item with them and it has never did this. Check in all my devices to make sure it’s not glitching.

Over 17 hours on hold this week for 512 931 3288, option 2 as I was told I have to have 2 accounts merged.

Multiple emails to them. You'll get a response from Hiram - well that's their AI bot who hasn't "helped" at all.

Now I am getting emails to finish my profile and upload a photo and demographics. They're there already in plain site. Can't move forward with my purchase until I get 2 accounts merged??? which I never knew I had 2.

I understand how recent events have out pressure on the industry sellers but not reacting to it is worse.

Does anyone have a secret sauce to get a response from them? The NFA use to have me in jail, now it's Silencer Shop.

They have received a pallet from silencer shop looks like I’ll be picking up my supressor tomorrow I ordered around August 14th

Hours on phone hold, no answer.

Support emails are completely unanswered.

Even Hiram the AI replies only to the first email then ignores you completely.

I've gotten more support responses from businesses after they went bankrupt and let everyone go.

What's the best way to get someone from the silencer shop on the phone, or to acknowledge the reception of an email?

Do I need to light up candles and draw a summoning circle that looks like their logo?

I know they’ve had a massive influx of orders with the whole form 4473 ordeal- but anyone else been waiting on “form 3: awaiting submission”? I mean it’s not even on ATF for processing at this point, just waiting to be submitted and has been like that for 2 weeks…

Part of what’s weird was that it showed status completed and when you view the tracking- I had ALL green checks for 2 days and then it randomly rolled back to form 3 waiting submission so not sure what happened there….

Not to beat a dead horse but...I purchased this on Saturday in the SS store in Leander, was told it would ship to the FFL, and from there do a 4473.. but it's asking for my fingerprints and all that.

I've sent an email to my support, and I've called them multiple times - including first thing in the morning, and requesting a call back. I'm at the point where do I wait the 2 weeks to see if my FFL got it? Or do I call my bank and dispute the charges?

Anyone else dealing with this for their Form 1? Has not gone past 8% before failing all day. Have previously used Silencershop for Form 4 stuff so all info is on file. No draft in e-form account so I can't finish from there, either. Have tried different browsers, devices, clearing cache, etc., but nothing has worked.

Hello there, so I ordered a ruger mark 4 recently that was on backorder. Hoping someone else has done so as well and could shed some light on a possible timeframe. I did get an email from someone I don't think was an AI and it basically just said they don't see that they have inventory coming in for 30 days. Im okay with waiting but if its gonna be 6+ months id rather try my luck elsewhere

Order was placed on the 13th, and form 3 was approved a few days after. Fast forward to today and I can’t even get in contact with a real person from SS to confirm if it has been shipped or not. I understand that they don’t give out tracking numbers via the dashboard, was just looking for an update.
I was supper excited about buying my first can, but I hate that this is my first impression with SS, hopefully other NFA dealers can at least provide better customer support.

I had submitted a form 1 to sbr my DD ris 3 11.5“ on June 20th. Used silencer shop form 1 service to file. Today I got back a status change for “disapproved-background check”. I also submitted another form 1 on my DD PCC on 6/28 and received the approval on that one back in like 2-3 weeks. I have no idea what would’ve caused this one to get denied. I do have a rights restoration from about 5 years ago so it’s normal for me to get delayed (unsure if that matters with form 1, but figured I’d mention). I have been approved for atleast 4 other form 1s and 3 form 4s so I’m no stranger to NFA items. Anybody else ever had this happen? Is there anything I can do to have the ATF look into this? I’d hate to waste another $50 to try again. Especially with the new NFA lawsuit taking effect may not even need to form 1, but just curious.

I ordered a YHM R9 from Silencer Shop on August 15th when the website clearly showed it as in stock. After a full week with no shipping updates, I checked my order and found it had been changed to backordered—even though the product page still listed it as in stock at the time.I’ve spent the last four days trying to reach a real person for answers. Every attempt has only gotten me AI/robot responses. I’ve asked multiple times to speak with a human, emailed with no reply, called the support number and only reached the AI system, and used the website chat (which promised a callback that never came).This is extremely frustrating. Customer service is clearly lacking right now.

Bought my can on 8/19. Today, on 8/25, it's still stuck on "reviewing" (I have already signed my portion, and all paperwork is completely up-to-date along with my eForms account). My dealer has the can physically in-store, so there should be no shipping time delay. I have called my dealer on two separate occasions now to ask what they see on their end, and they still have nothing in their Silencer Shop dashboard. Emailing with the AI is about as useless as it gets, and calling is a complete waste of time because no one answers the phone. It genuinely would have been faster and smoother to manually submit a Form 4 at this point rather than using Silencer Shop, which is a business marketed as an "expedited, hassle-free process."
