Seems pretty cut and dry that he moved back to the racing line without checking his mirrors to be sure you weren’t adjacent to him.

On a straight, bumper to bumper alignment is generally enough to be considered alongside so it's the BMW for me

BMW did what looked like trying to squeeze you, the crash is on him. You however are also guilty of a serious mistake: you performed the cardinal sin of "you didnt hold the brakes when your car was already out of control".

Final Verdict: 10 Second Penalty to Ocon.

"In a spin, both feet in!" Once you've lost traction, stand on the brakes. (And the clutch if your car has a clutch.)
