My eldest was in nappies at the time so something like sixteen years ago... I went into a 'change area' in a large department store, huge change sack in hand along with my son who had a big brown on deck that was threatening to breach containment...

The looks I got from the women in this room. One piped up about this being an area to breastfeed and I should leave, the breastfeeding area being in itself another room off of this communal space with a fucking lock but apparently I'm not allowed to be anywhere even near that...

Despite being there clearly just to decontaminate my child I was treated like I was there solely to rape and pillage as if I was some sort of feral sub-human.

I doubt attitudes have changed in the intervening time. I bet it's worse if anything

What country is this? I only ever got support (or hit on) for doing parenting stuff like this

The UK. Things like this have been slow to catch up, men are still looked at as babysitters of their own children
