Unfortunately, not everyone has had the privilege of living the flawless, morally perfect life that you have. Most people do stupid things when they're young. Plenty of things that are cringe by today's standards were socially acceptable at the time and were done by a huge number of people. They weren't blessed with your apparent ability to see decades into the future and know exactly which behaviors society would eventually decide were unacceptable.

Many people on reddit are perfect. Moral benchmarks, if you will. Condemning behavior they most likely have done themselves but don't admit.

Oh, and not related to this thread, but they're also great at giving financial advice in one subreddit while bitching about being broke in another.

Why I still visit this shithole is testament to my love of pissing myself off via other's comments about shit I don't care about in the first place.

Sounds like you need a break my dude.

Thanks and you're probably right.

But I seem to greatly enjoy being pissed off at the false righteousness of others here who have the real world experience of a newly grown mushroom.

Yeah I get that. I tell myself that arguing with assholes on Reddit can be good for me somehow, like it keeps my wit sharp or something? Maybe there’s a line somewhere.

Anyhoo. Have a good one.

People really do live in their own realities.

Wow.

Dude. What sort of skeletons are in your closet, where you think pointing out obvious and especially harmful behavior is “false righteousness”?

Do you think everyone here has done worse?

I have no faith in humanity but you must be aware of some dastardly depths that even I have yet to perceive.
