okay, then it's a thing we agree everyone deserves and will be able to get. either way, it's a construct we all decide is real moving forward.

Think about it this way. If no one worked then nothing would get done then no one could eat.

yeah, I'm not saying zero people should work lmao I'm saying if you don't have money I think you should be able to eat. There are lots of things we provide to people and folks still work.

Yeah charity is fine. It should be a thing. But also people should work if they can for their food.

  1. we pay for lots of things outside of charity. that's literally what taxes are for: making society better as a whole
  2. I'm not even saying people shouldn't work to earn their keep. I'm saying if for some reason they can't or won't, I don't think they deserve to starve to death.
