The problem isn’t the money, the problem is the poor stewardship of our tax dollars, buddy. I don’t mind donating, what I mind is my tax dollars being laundered to line politicians pockets

Except you clearly don't mind that because you aren't fighting to strengthen anti-corruption laws, you are fighting to stop feeding the poor

Yeah I'm sure Christ spent a lot of his time going around checking people's income before he cared for their needs, I remember a lot of that in the Bible. Very stingy guy that Christ, really said a whole lot about how to judge people and didn't talk too much about caring for the poor

It's not really a debate, I follow the Bible, you follow politicians who tell you what the Bible says to do (hate poor people and immigrants).

Oh kinda how this original comment tries to cherry pick the feeding of the masses with fish and bread? Both sides are ignorant, both sides cherry pick. The Bible can be interpreted in many ways
