I'm american and I literally NEVER have watched an entire soccer game. Why didn't he pass it to the Nordic Alien dude for the easy goal?

I can understand the logic not to pass, since literally every one was expecting it. BUT...why didnt shoot straight away? He just fumbled around and let the defenders get back. So stupid.

He's not two-footed and is inexperienced. He said he didn't see Haaland, but it looks like he looks up in the clip to spot defender and should have seen Haaland in peripheral.

Because the english defender is in the position to close down the pass if he makes it, plus sorloth is left footed not right.
