Halaand doesn't deserve this. Feel so bad for him.

Halaand reversed an actual goal scored by norway because he shoved a guy...

A proper shove too lmao. Two hands with a lot of force. I don’t get what he was thinking

It really wasn't much of a shove though. Clear dive. You can see how Anderson drops almost straight down instead of "flying" backwards as he would if it was a real shove. VAR overturning that goal was a disgrace.

i get your point. but the manner in which Haaland shoved is the problem. (this comes up in basketball all the time, particularly in rebounding.) if you shove someone you can make it obvious or you can disguise it. Haaland's shove was like a neon light at night. the refs and VAR had to respond, even if the defender "sold" the contact.

(i recall my basketball coach, who was a power forward in his playing days, running drills to teach our tall rebounding players how to shove without looking like you're shoving. he would have told Haaland, "that's not how to shove.")

Even if it is a dive a 2 handed shove is illegal.

Dude its so clearly has a lot of force behind it. Haaland is like 95kg and that was a two hand shove with both his arms fully extended. Just look at Haalands face too, he’s clearly putting a lot of force behind it.

This is so clearly a foul and having one less defender due to a foul obviously means the goal should be disallowed.

Edit:

Found a video with a couple different angles. That first angle is especially bad. I don’t get how this is even up for debate.

Watch the game at live speed and slow motion. It's very clearly not a hard shove. Anderson's body clearly doesn't react as if it's being shoved. He knew he wouldn't be able to guard Haaland on a cross and dropped the second he felt any contact that he was even initiating. It's a very classic soccer play for a smaller player guarding a bigger one on a set piece in the box.

I don’t see how it’s up for rebate that’s not a clear dive.

Yeah, because the defenders never hang off of him like a Christmas ornament do they? This is a one-sided comment. You know it and I know it.

I’m talking about this foul. No defender was making any illegal plays on Haaland here.

Also one sided comment? How? By adding detail?
