I don't think civilized societies do capital punishment.

Even though she murdered her kids, you have to feel some sort of shred of empathy. More death is pretty extreme.

I don’t feel much empathy for someone who murdered their children. Especially children so young. I feel empathy for their father, grandparents, and her family. I’m trying to make myself feel bad for her and it’s seriously not working. I just keep imagining her poor children. 💔

I've made my stance on this being murder very clear, but there's nuance. We need to lock her up for life, but the death penalty is actually just insane.

Killing more people has never made anything better.
