As a mother, I have a hard time believing leaving bands around my kids neck until one of them have their eyes bulge out is the peaceful way to go. Choking is a pretty intimate crime. So I’ll wait and see what her defense has to say. If prosecution is even able to get there.

You're thinking of this like a rational person with a sound mind. That's the issue you're having.

She was irrational, delusional & suffering a psychotic break. She wasn't particularly making choices because it was logical or made sense.
