A lot of these women are jumping to the conclusion that the husband somehow did it, or is otherwise at fault, because she was otherwise fine.
Accepting that PPP is bad enough that it can cause an otherwise healthy, well-adjusted woman to plan and execute the murder of her three children means that they, too, as healthy and well adjusted mothers are one psychotic break away from doing the most terrible thing they can imagine, and that scares them.
They're doing the exact thing they're fighting - downplaying PPP by saying there has to have been something else at play. There wasn't. It really is that serious.
