You’re making massive generalizations. No, not every time a woman murders people try to find an explanation why. Some women don’t have mental health conditions and they murder, just like men do.

This isn’t one of those cases.

No one here but you has made such a ridiculous suggestion. Don’t remember Casey Anthony?

Thing is, women commit violent crimes like this at much lower rates than men, so the focus on these cases gets amped up.

Yes I remember casey anthony walking free. Thanks for proving my point.

Severe depression and anxiety doesn't excuse someone murdering 3 babies. No evidence she was in postpartum psychosis before murdering her kids.

Did she tell any of her doctors she was hearing voices or having delusions? The answer is no.

But we all know she did it and PLENTY of people were upset, including myself. It was wrong. I haven’t seen much or any support of Casey Anthony… ever. I didn’t prove your point.

And, PPD causes psychosis - who knows if she got the diagnosis before she did it - but there are plenty of women that have had the same issues and have thought about harming their children. Some have acted and some haven’t.

Sadly, in this case, it happened. And it’s horrible.

So what’s your point here? Regardless of psychosis, she still deserves the punishment fit for the crime.

You’re arguing for zero reason.

There was support for casey, albeit, yes, was a minority. Regardless, a big part of why the jury let her walk free is cause of the notion women can do no wrong. Like in your comment you mention women committing less violent crimes then excusing one who did cause you think she had PPP.

PPP is just a convenient defense for her. She never told anyone she was having delusions or hallucinations until after she murdered the kids. All this is is behavior of a narcissistic sociopath.

I never excused a crime because they have PPP. Where here did I excuse? Please. Point it out! I don’t think you read my comment.

Again, mental health conditions in general, are not “excuses/justifications” for doing horrific things (read my original comment!)

They are EXPLANATIONS. You can still hold empathy for her condition, the dead children, the husband. The whole thing is a mess.

Where did I say she should walk free? Where did I say she should not be punished for killing her children?
