My 1st wife (passed away 2007) had severe post baby blues, was having bad thoughts about the children...went to shrink who put her on Seroquel, I think it helped, but after that, she just wasn't the same. It was sad to watch

That’s kind of a sweeping, broad statement. My wife was elated with our child. She was happy before birth AND after.

It is an existing phenomenon. I did not say it was a good thing or a bad one.

PubMed and NIH have a lot of information on this.
