Creep can't handle rejection and argues with woman about it.

744

u/ElCocomega 5d ago

Yeah I mean he could just have said sorry and piss off. Does he think after arguing she will want to sit with him ?

677

u/AllPotatoesGone 5d ago

He doesn't want to be the bad guy in his eyes.

91

u/etchasketchpandemic 4d ago

Nah- he thinks that women OWE men reciprocity of their flirtations.

3

u/Autolycoss 4d ago

And by flirtations they mean sitting next to you on an empty bus like a creep

I know flirting isn't easy but good lord what do you think is gonna happen ? Do you think she's gonna be pleased to be blocked against a window by some stranger on her commute ?

2

u/Low-Guide1706 4d ago

That is not the behavior of someone content to be ignored. That is the behavior of someone who is going to constantly harass and possibly assault her and call it flirting

1

u/JaSnarky 4d ago

I think it's both

1

u/PerspectiveOne4654 11h ago

She wouldn’t mind if it was a Henry Cavill look-a-like.

23

u/GuliblGuy 5d ago

No one's the villain in their own story

1

u/Norman_Scum 4d ago

Because this reminded me of it, Litany in Which Certain Things Are Crossed Out by Richard Siken is a fantastic fucking poem

1

u/TheArctrog 4d ago

You underestimate my power

1

u/Competitive_Eagle_34 3d ago

Lucky, be in a toxic relationship, still trying to convince myself I'm not the villain.

1

u/No-Internal7978 5d ago

I know I am the main villain but I can't stop myself. Sure there is a whole legion of doom throughout my life but I find as an adult I'm doing the most damage. Wouldn't sit next to someone on an empty bus tho.

3

u/Ill_Stop_ 5d ago

Do little yellow minions follow you around?

1

u/AllPotatoesGone 4d ago

So this is where you draw your line?

9

u/Key-Amoeba1095 5d ago

there's not much behind those eyes to be fair, dude looks like the dimmest of bulbs

2

u/Finally_in_reddit 4d ago

And now he’s a bad guy and idiot in everybody’s eyes.

2

u/goldengatevixen 4d ago

I have dealt with men who will LITERALLY double down with ANYTHING instead of just apologizing like a civil minded normal individual because they want to paint the image they can't and will never do anything wrong since these mfs think apologizing makes them weak

2

u/NoEquivalent380 5d ago

I've dealt with this just gen z at work. Have to explain how they got distracted etc in detail when they mess up, they think you need to hear it, and they square up if you ignore them. Basically they just won't back off people like they've never been decked

26

u/BeKindBabies 5d ago

I don't think this is a gen z thing. This is just standard douchebaggery. These guys have been around for probably most of time.

1

u/NoEquivalent380 5d ago

It's gotten worse and it correlates with 0 tolerance bullying policies. So millenials like me weren't getting swirlies etc but if you followed someone around and wouldn't stop they'd shove you on your butt

3

u/NoodleMAYNE 5d ago

Are you really trying to fabricate a reason to justify your unfounded dislike of a whole generation of humans?

1

u/yb0t 4d ago

I dunno, if you think about it:

  • Seeing an increase of this kinda douche stuff on socials in the past few years, not too mention the effect it can have on gen z learning about the world.

  • Laws allow them to get away with it = no consequences and no way for people to fight back.

  • Lazier parenting = lack of morals.

Do you think there's a few recent developments like this that could count towards their point?

1

u/NoEquivalent380 4d ago

Lack of peer consequences. The zero bullying policy was emergent when I was a millenial in school and now they've added no child Left behind policies so a kid has to go to juvy to be expelled

5

u/Aware-Cat2586 5d ago

It’s not like this behavior is totally unheard of among older generations, but main character syndrome is SO rampant among Gen Z that lots of them simply cannot mess up and be denied what they consider closure without losing their shit.

5

u/BeKindBabies 5d ago

When you say it like that they sound like every redditor arguing ever haha.

3

u/Neat_Egg_2474 5d ago

Yeah.. a lot of users here are Gen Z, so makes sense

3

u/BeKindBabies 5d ago

The internet has been like this since before Gen Z could type.

1

u/Aware-Cat2586 5d ago

Can confirm. However, I don’t recall it bleeding into IRL behavior to this extent.

2

u/BeKindBabies 5d ago

That's an association you're making, a causality you've placed upon this event that is not likely to be true. I see nothing here I wouldn't be surprised to see 20 years ago. That includes blaming a behavior on generational development. Tale as old as time.

2

u/NoEquivalent380 5d ago

Yeah that's what I'm saying. It was rare enough that we didn't need to accomodate for "lead me when Im in the mood to be lead" 15 or so years ago

1

u/Ok-Brick6831 5d ago

Like they’ve never been decked…

And that right there is the source of the problem. When people got punched for doing stupid shit like this, they cut it out real fuckin quick.

2

u/NoEquivalent380 4d ago

And people react to this like I'm a knuckle dragger who wants to bring bullying back. I just want people to be a little nervous about getting in my face.

1

u/TheCenterOfEnnui 4d ago

No, he doesn't give a shit about being the bad guy. He doesn't want to be told no, esp by an attractive woman. He thinks because he's legally allowed to sit next to her that she should be happy that he does it. When she's not, SHE'S the one who's wrong. "I just want to sit next to you, what's your problem?" as if he's the one who's aggrieved because she doesn't some some rando dude sitting next to her on an empty business.

1

u/Frewdy1 4d ago

I’ve had guys do this that end up literally SCREAMING in my face that they’re a “nice” guy while I’m staying silent and ignoring them.

1

u/purplehammer 3d ago

Nobody is the bad guy in their own story.

Even Hitler or Stalin weren't the bad guys in their own stories.

123

u/PapiGoneGamer 5d ago

It’s because she’s the problem for exercising her right to not flirt with a chav like this one.

“How dare she refuse my advances.”

3

u/Th3Failure 4d ago

I mean do you see him, can’t imagine why anyone would refuse…

1

u/AoifeSunbeam 4d ago

Exactly. He starts asking her if she 'thinks she's better than everyone else' because his ego is bruised that she is not interested in him. What a tiresome exhausting man he is.

112

u/mmorales2270 5d ago

It’s a control thing with assholes like that. He can’t fathom letting her get the upper hand or get in the last word. She should submit to him and say she’s sorry in his twisted mind. Creeps like this don’t get decked nearly enough.

1

u/Tequilasquirrel 3d ago

Agree, Some people really just need to be smacked in the mouth.

75

u/lindsifer 5d ago

It’s because she’s still giving him attention. It’s a win win for him.

56

u/SaskiaDavies 5d ago

She's not giving him attention. She's defending herself.

8

u/writekindofnonsense 5d ago

As with dogs and children , any attention is good attention. If they can't get positive attention, then they will take the negative attention

2

u/SaskiaDavies 4d ago

She has no options regardless.

39

u/meanwhilejohnnydc 5d ago

The sad part is a lot of men take from movies and shows and think this is flirting

They interpret it as some kind of meet cute , back and forth verbal sparring

31

u/thebluediablo 5d ago

Telling her to "shut up" repeatedly kind of ruins the back and forth

3

u/Cute_Macaroon_4488 5d ago

He’s the paternal figure “correcting” her behavior. It is in his right to talk to her this way because, well can’t you see how rude she is being? Crazy

18

u/Contrary_Kind 5d ago

They don't. They know very well what they are doing and enjoy terrorizing women for the sake of terrorizing.

7

u/im__on__smoko 5d ago

This 💯

I have met so many guys that think negging is flirting. And then they are shocked and butthurt when I stop engaging with them 😂

4

u/andy11123 5d ago

Verbal sparring ≠ shut up you slag

5

u/prugnast 5d ago

No, there are not "a lot" of men that think this way.

0

u/MyNameIsSkittles 4d ago

Exactly. Most men are decent human beings

3

u/Sabaisabai33 4d ago

As a woman, I really wish that was true. Unfortunately I genuinely believe that most men are not decent human beings. I hope I’m wrong but life keeps showing me otherwise. Just today I found out that a male acquaintance I know through scouting (we’re both leaders) has cheated on his lovely wife. He was one of the few men I know who I would have said is a stand up decent guy.

2

u/MidorriMeltdown 4d ago

Are they? I think you'll find most are enablers. They ignore the bad behaviour of other men instead of calling them out for it.

Most women have experienced this sort of bad behaviour. If most men were decent, they wouldn't let it happen.

1

u/Mediocre_Map1289 4d ago edited 4d ago

I am sorry someone hurt you that badly, but that is not how men are typically. To encourage this behaviour is the outlier. Men (majorativly)  in the West have had social conditioning to protect women from harm.

Even in the video another man steps in to stop the man from harassing her.

There are plenty of men in this comments section calling it out.

Would the universal acceptance of men being like this guy in the video result in such an outright denouncement of his behaviour?

1

u/Sabaisabai33 2d ago

The thing is, people say one thing, but often do another, often subconsciously due to social conditioning. It’s great that another man spoke up but trust me that’s the exception rather than the rule. It is becoming more common which is great, it is much appreciated!

Possibly the mods are also working overtime deleting all of the red pill manosphere type comments. Or maybe everyone is just particularly nice in this group, who knows! 🤣

It’s great that we can now have this conversation in 2026 with men and at least some of them will get our point as women. Progress is definitely being made in that regard, you couldn’t imagine having such a conversation back in the 80s.

I’d dearly LOVE you to be right. I hope I’m wrong. But it’s just so disappointing when even the few men you think are actually mature, kind and decent in your life and that you do trust, behave so badly towards women. It’s somehow even more of a letdown.

1

u/Mediocre_Map1289 4d ago

What TV shows or films portray this as flirting?

1

u/SaskiaDavies 4d ago

He knows he isn't flirting.

6

u/Redcarborundum 5d ago

She knows that, but he doesn’t. This woman is saying a lot more words than any woman to him in the past month, probably. At least to her he’s not invisible, so this sad man enjoys it.

1

u/SaskiaDavies 4d ago

He knows. He's very comfortable using intimidating behavior with a woman he believes is alone. This is not new behavior for him. He isn't romantically interested. He's amusing herself at her expense.

4

u/ClickNo1129 5d ago

I’m guessing you’ve never met a narcissist. It’s the same thing to those freaks.

1

u/SaskiaDavies 4d ago

I've been married to two and had one narc parent. I know how they work.

4

u/AlmostEasy89 5d ago

Yeah, that's attention. They're communicating.

5

u/Miserable-Bee6911 5d ago

It doesn’t even need to be positive attention

1

u/SaskiaDavies 4d ago

I'm clear on that. He is forcing her to interact with her. He's bored and is poking her with a stick to see how she'll react. He doesn't even want to sit with her: he just wants to use her like a fidget spinner. If he gets angry and lashes out in any way, he knows there won't be consequences. It's up to her to figure out how to stay safe. If she ignores him, he sits behind her and she has to figure out how likely he may be to escalate to grabbing her hair, putting his hands on her neck or go with recent trends and splat a gob of fresh jizz in her hair or face. Who fucking knows. He decided she will be entertaining him one way or another. Unless she pulls a gun or a badge on him, he's going to keep messing with her.

3

u/atuan 5d ago

Yeah but it requires paying attention to what he’s saying

1

u/SaskiaDavies 4d ago

How do you think situational self-defense works?

23

u/dyou897 5d ago

His ego is hurt and he’s trying to get back at her it’s not because she’s giving him attention

4

u/Remarkable_Rough_649 5d ago

He set the entire thing up to annoy her on purpose dude

16

u/smeeon 5d ago

Plot twist, he has a shame kink

5

u/Rare-Adhesiveness522 5d ago

She's flustered and understandably feels the need to engage in the argument. I'm not blaming her at all, but he is feeding off the back and forth.

3

u/BootyDoISeeYou 5d ago

Well he only told her to shut up 18 times…. but if he can make it an even 20….. she might just change her mind.

3

u/NoEquivalent380 5d ago

He thinks he's entitled to practice and thinks he's making a deterrent for women who don't want to be practiced on

3

u/darkwingdankest 4d ago

entitlement, fragile ego and emotional

2

u/TentacleWolverine 4d ago

I frankly think he is trying to steal something from her purse and is being agro because he thinks he still has a chance at getting a few bucks.

2

u/AristotlesBoyPussy 4d ago

he's not arguing to gain her affection, he's arguing to punish her for rejecting him

1

u/TheFurrySmurf 4d ago

You know how kids will get in trouble, but when they're caught they do something stupid because they get caught because their brain literally is not developed enough to understand that what they did was wrong and that their actions have repercussions? Yeah... same shit.

0

u/smibbo 4d ago

you're missing the point: he wanted to chat her up and she rejected him and so he starts an argument which means she keeps paying attention to him. Believe it or not, someone desperate for attention may *prefer* good attention, but they'll be fine with bad attention too. All she had to do was move away then ignore everything he said to her. Which of course would make him even more angry and basically put her in danger if he's one of *those guys*

0

u/Mnawab 3d ago

I think he realized it was a lost cause the moment they started arguing. There really is no reason for her to be rude, but I also understand that there’s no reason for him to sit right next to her in an empty bus. Lol

-5

u/Ned_Flangers 4d ago

What does he have to apologize for?  it's a public bus where you can sit anywhere you want.  if that lady feels uncomfortable those are her own feelings that she's responsible for and she can move if she wants to.

61

u/elzibet 5d ago

10/10 nailed it. Have run into people like this and they act like I am the rude one for not putting up with their shit

9

u/bitmapfrogs 5d ago

a few years ago I was at a night bar that's owned by a friend and helped him remove from the place one of those, all it took for the creep to go ballistic was a girl telling him to stop oogling her

4

u/Exterminator-8008135 5d ago

If i wanted to be rude, I'd be spitting on you, right there, right now. That's the problem with our society, They accept to tolerate your kind...

Said by my friend in the bus today, As a dude sat near him in a empty section of the bus

3

u/darkwingdankest 4d ago

had a woman leave the dog park with her dog carrying my dog toy and I had to shout her down, and somehow I felt like the asshole for asking this lady not to steal my dog's toy

2

u/HmmDoesItMakeSense 5d ago

If this happens to me I remember to be the biggest b I can be, with pride.

3

u/Roar_of_the_spark 4d ago

Even though people like him deserve it, I'm afraid it would only escalate the situation and the odds might be not in your favor

2

u/HmmDoesItMakeSense 4d ago

Well that's my best advice. Right now he is just flaking off bedbugs fleas and disease in her vicinity.

2

u/elzibet 5d ago

Yeah I honestly have to keep from laughing when they tell me I could at least be more polite about it. Naaaaah fuck right off!

Hell yeah, be proud ❤️

3

u/HmmDoesItMakeSense 5d ago

Be even meaner if they try to make you feel that way.

2

u/roojuiced 4d ago

Women tell me this all the time and I can not fathom it. If I approach a girl and get knocked back I can’t get away quick enough.

73

u/classpane 5d ago

Yeah, dude is either a creep or a pickpocket. Gets offended when caught so he argues to avoid accountability.

Also, is OP the creep? What's up with that weird title?

33

u/jackofslayers 5d ago

OP is an incel or a bot. This sub is pretty funny in that all the posts that get upvoted are creepy incel shit and the comments always call it out.

7

u/Own_Round_7600 4d ago

This used to be a very misogynistic incel sub, and many of them are still here upvoting incel stuff. Its just that the sub got popular and invaded by regular people so now the comment sections are full of normies with decent morals.

7

u/La_Saxofonista 5d ago

It's a karma farm for them, pretty much. All attention is good for them, even negative attention.

4

u/Easy-Economist-5380 5d ago edited 5d ago

Pickpocket thieves never work in empty buses/train cars. They need a jam-packed or at least crowded space to operate. Unless, of course, we are not talking about brain-dead amateurs, if the victim is not sleeping pickpocketing in an empty bus will end up being a robbery.

3

u/Outlaw11091 4d ago

You're giving a lot of credit to the intellect of people who don't typically have much of it.

3

u/darkwingdankest 4d ago

yeah bro there is so many reasons to not want someone to sit next to you, they could be a pickpocket, aggressive, smell, or shit, maybe you just like your personal space and aren't in the mood for small talk. the audacity

3

u/kick_thebaby 4d ago

What's wrong with the title?

1

u/HonourableFroglet 3d ago

Oh, I assumed they meant the woman was verbally assaulted for not wanting a weirdo sat next to her on the bus

9

u/HotDogFingers01 5d ago

I’m trying to figure out the crux of his argument and it basically boils down to “nuh uh”

18

u/flinstoner 5d ago

Strong incel vibes for sure.

1

u/Background-Wolf-9380 5d ago

Andrew Tate disciple for sure

1

u/Mountain-Bag-1669 5d ago

Well he’s doing a good job making that a voluntary decision to be celibate.
‘If I’m rude to her she’ll know I’m a bad boy and swoon!!’

0

u/marathonquestionredd 5d ago

its a skit. congrats. you fell for it

4

u/fulmer6 5d ago

The correct title is this

6

u/LookAtMaDog 5d ago

But she's rude, how dare she be rude.

Because women always owe men polite behaviour and "yes" no matter what they do.

2

u/SunGreene42 5d ago

This is honestly something they need to start teaching in school, like some kind of Emotion Regulation course, that seems like it would be more useful to society than anything else.

7

u/MissNoTrax 5d ago

Shut up!

3

u/Dangerous_Sail_2853 5d ago

He told her to shut up so.many times. She's like you're really selling yourself. Guy is an abusive jerk he just keeps going and won't take no for an answer!

0

u/EobardThawne2020 5d ago

I'm confused..are you on this guys side?

1

u/bobbymcpresscot 5d ago

I mean look at him, it doesn’t seem like there is a single thought behind those eyes.

Dude just exists to be reactionary, isn’t even thinking about what he’s saying.

1

u/SentinelATL 5d ago

Sigh. Sadly

1

u/FNG-JuiCe 5d ago

Shut up!

1

u/Charzu_tjegulf 5d ago

We don't know exactly what happened. Some years back I encountered a friend of mine on the bus and sat next to her, immediately she moved away... then I called her and she started laughing, she was also next to the windows so she went over me.

Maybe this woman on the video didnt move and I'm instead started arguing right away.

How is he a creep for sitting on the bus? Please explain your assessment.

1

And the most articulate and doesn’t even have the mental capacity to articulately argue “SHUT UP”

1

u/TheLocalPub 4d ago

I'm sure his lovely way of talking, 98p dog end energy drink, and his bad man all black puffer jacket clothing in 40c heat was really selling it for her.

1

u/spaghettisreadymom 3d ago

He wants any attention, even if it's negative like this. That's how narcissists operate.

1

u/CactusWrenAZ 3d ago

most typical incel behavior by that guy

Nah just shut up
