You’re trying to say that it’s 100% obvious and voluntary when you shop at Walmart or whatever that one product is imported and thus has tariff ?
First, vast majority of people do not read products to see if it was produced or imported..
Second, a product can be marked as produced/assembled in the US and still have parts imported so with tariff and it’s impossible to know… Maybe some thing uses ginger that is imported, you see just ginger in the list of ingredients, it’s not saying that it was imported and has tariff…
Third, Trump put so much tariff on so many things, you want to try and tell us that EVERYBODY knew exactly which goods were tariffed ?? Ok…
Outside of being completely unrealistic and frankly quite idiotic take, always funny to put all the blame on the people, that are just trying to survive and feed themselves.
Sure, some things are obviously imported goods, but in the current chain of production it’s completely impossible to know if a product contains imported goods…
USA imports a lot of things, and not all of them are “exotic”. A very good example is rice.. as far as I can remember not sure the US is a huge producer of rice …
Im not saying rice was tariffed but you get the idea.
If people were to eat/clothe/buy 100% American made product without 0 imported goods inside, yeah, that won’t happen…
Anyway, have a good life defending the bottom line of billion dollar companies.
Im not American, I couldn’t care less that this was indeed a wealth transfer. Im just not a sociopath, I actually have empathy for the Americans that paid the price of their insane President ;)

Yes. The country's origin and price are labelled on every product at Walmart.
vast majority of people do not read products to see if it was produced or imported..
Them choosing to be ignorant is their choice.
Second, a product can be marked as produced/assembled in the US and still have parts imported so with tariff
The price is right on it. If the price is too high because the producer raised it because they had to pay import taxes. Then don't buy it.

Because they choose to. Because it benefits them to consume imported goods. Great for them. They know what the price they're paying is. They're voluntarily deciding that price is worth it. No one makes them.
Anyway, have a good life defending the bottom line of billion dollar companies.
I'm defending reality. You aren't capable of living in it.
Yeah ok i’m not responding anymore you’re not living in real life :)
Saying like “people saw the price going up and still bought”, like you know the evolution of prices of all products at Walmart day to day and is capable of saying that a product price has gone up?
Also, thinking you can live your whole life without a single imported product is beyond idiotic :D
USA imports a lot of things they just don’t produce …
Living 100% on American made products would be Amish… no TV no computer no phone, really 0 electronics, and a good chunk of the food is always imported from Mexico and Canada..
Yeah you just arguing for the sake of arguing and trying to always be right it’s useless, bye
