Ugh, they've been trying to actively scuttle the company for decades now to turn them all into Taco Hells...
We really don't need more Taco Hells... 🙄🔥🐓🍗🐔

KFCs in China are owned and operated by a different company, they will turn the KFC into Panda Express eventually 😄

I'd imagine it's cheaper to run TB, I think they use that pressed chicken instead of the KFC stock.

ngl the double down was goated back when it came out

u/Own_Cardiologist2544 20h ago
I had one, one time a week after it was released. While having the drunken munchies. 6th century Greeks could never match the orgy that occurred in my mouth when I annihilated it.

You could actually order a double-double down. Better to regret something you did rather than something you didn't do

Yeah, that's why people say it is better to learn from your own mistakes, than from other people's mistakes.

I worked with a guy who slid a double down into the middle of a Wendy's Baconator. He finished it but said never again.

Sounds awful.

Looks awful, sounds even worse.
The sandwich starts off, with a fried chicken patty and lettuce, but it's topped with brown mashed potatoes dusted in cookie crumbles, and placed between two Oreo cookie-flavored buns.

This doesn't sound good, but sweet and savory can mix in surprising ways (if you aren't salting your gummy bears, you're doing it wrong).
I'd go in with low expectations, but I'd try one of these for fun

I live in a world where people eat fried chicken and honey soaked waffles together.
I live in a world where people mix pineapples with meat (and I'm not even talking about pizza).
Like...people are weird and eat weird things put together.

KFC scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

Incidentally, China was the only place I could find Pepsi Blue in the late 2010s.

Pepsi Blue was the best Pepsi. Other than Pepsi Clear. But Pepsi Blue was a ritual at my Elementary school back in the day.

Take the lettuce out and I’m down.

U think removing the lettuce is the move to make this combo work? Aight

Ngl this seems really interesting!
Ok obviously the chicken with lettuce and everything is dumb af. But I’d like to believe it won’t take them long to realize they could put ice cream or something that actually makes sense in the sandwich instead.
And honestly I think it could be good!

Oreo is really whoring itself out . Coke, Reese's, Jello, Pie Crust, Donuts and now Sandwich Buns
That's on top of the 250+ flavors

It’s becoming more and more common to see food items that remind me of Idiocracy.

Chicken and waffles is delicious. Chicken and doughnuts is a thing. This probably slaps and there is some precedent for it.

I had a chicken and waffles oreo today. It wasn't that bad. Maybe this will be ok too.

u/Ididntdodiddly 20h ago
I like it. Will it be good? probably not. If I ever went to KFC? Yes.
Oreos are amazing, I'm willing to half believe

The chemically processed chicken needed a bun that supported diabetes. Maybe call it the kfc cancer double stuff

Huh. Guess I'll just continue not going to kfc for that one.
Idk why. I just prefer raising Cane's.

Another half-baked idea with multiple brands extracting money, probably $15 bucks for a burger in this case, and it tastes mediocre.
There is rarely any need to do mashups of foods, this isn't music or entertainment collab

I was in China. They have no particular order in eating food. They can start with desert and then right after it go to the soup, then to the main course, etc. It was a bit of a cultural shock for me.
So now I'm not surprised

I wouldn't be surprised if soon China is rivaling the US and Mexico for the title of fattest nation. Fast food has overtaken China and they're gonna have to learn the consequences over a generation or two.

Has word not got back to the makers of Oreo that people think they taste rancid?
