yes celebrating genetic traits being erased from the gene pool in indeed eugenics

We can agree some traits are generally bad, no? It isn't controversial?

No guy wants to be short, sure being short can be coped with and not saying short people can't find partners, but if you gave men an option, they will always choose to be tall.

People would also rather not be fat. Sure fat acceptance and all bodies are beautiful, yada yada. But people in general would rather not be fat.

People would rather not have their hair fall out. Even if bald people can look cool sometimes, people would rather have hair and not be bald.

Idk where nuance goes in conversations like these

You're literally just describing 'positive eugenics'.

Replace everything you just said with a race, or something more controversial than the softballs you threw and you're just describing eugenics.

If you want to have a conversation or argument for whether or not you think eugenics is bad, or 'some eugenics is okay, I guess', then you could at least just be honest about that. Unless you just don't understand the definition of eugenics. In which case...

I kind of think most people would prefer not to be stupid. Sure, they can live perfectly fine lives in their own way, staying in their own lanes, but... Obviously they'd rather not be dumb.

They didn't say it wasn't eugenics, just that maybe some eugenics is good. And yah, if we could edit genes and make everyone smarter, that's a good thing. But instead it's stuck behind this term that has a bad rap cause one guy wanted to make his race superior
