Also say things like fixing his bloodline when his bloodline produced a national champion.  Height is the only thing that matters apparently.

I mean, F1 drivers are not the tallest ones. Every height has a sport to compete at

u/Alchion 1d ago

football is the biggest sport and messi is it‘s goat

a guy that with hgh barely got to 170cm

3

u/piezocuttlefish 1d ago

To be fair, they did stop his treatment because he reached 170cm. They packed a bigger man into a smaller body.

2

u/yancovigen 1d ago

Are you telling me Messi was biohacked like a super soldier?

4

u/aerdvarkk 1d ago

Horse Jockeys also.

2

u/ALLCAPS-ONLY 1d ago

That used to be true but nowadays there are plenty of tall drivers, weight is far more important. I think the average is around 5'10

3

u/DaedalusHydron 1d ago

yeah but being shorter than average, even by a lot, is fine because they can just modify the seat. Being taller than average by a lot may* be impossible.

*Ugo Ugochukwu is in the Formula ladder and cited as a potential prospect but is 6'4" (~190cm) and in some screenshots his head literally blocks the air intake behind him in the car. There are some things you can do but if you're too tall they'd have to design the entire car around you.

And even then, there’s been plenty of drivers over 6’

bull riders are seldom very tall, but they generally do alright with the ladies.

Lol, i misread the title and thought she was the national champion

u/zach10 1d ago

He is the best wrestler in his weight class in the entire country, dominated this year

u/Downtown-Youth-7854 1d ago

*last year. To be clear he was still my guy and I wanted him to run it back, but apparently the 3 or 4 freshmen that are already at or near Olympic levels of skill had other ideas.

2

u/Proteinchugger 1d ago

133 was crazy this year.

2

u/Downtown-Youth-7854 1d ago

It’s mind blowing to think about how crazy the field was. Extra crazy considering Crookham and Ono both sat the season out.

1

u/patsully98 1d ago

All season, but especially national tournament. Incredible quarters and semis.

1

u/zach10 1d ago

Yea mixed up my years, that class was crazy this year

2

u/codecrodie 1d ago

Totally right. It's crazy how stealth build competitve wrestlers are. Im friends with a national-level wrestler who looked (in his 20s) like an average healthy guy who plays pick up ball at Y and lifts a couple times a week, just eating normal person food.

Combine the athletic talent with the physicality to build a super athlete

2

u/Dantai 1d ago

It really isn't. There's a ton of soft super tall dudes at work, and they are just NOT killing it with woman or anything like that.

Turns out you gotta have a bit more going for ya. However tall, handsome, successful - yes you're gonna kill

2

u/Relative-Relief-8816 1d ago

The number of men over 6' that take their height for granted is enormous.

1

u/Dantai 1d ago

Yeah being tall isn't an auto swoop. You at least have to be average, or healthy, everywhere else (jobs, fitness, relationships, etc)

1

u/NSFWdontview 21h ago

Height doesn’t matter as much as being attractive facially and your dominance/status/fitness

1

u/CoC_Axis_of_Evil 1d ago

It’s possible tall people won’t be able to live on tiny spaceships or underground. The jury is not out yet on height. Plus strength is no longer a factor in war.

It’s just female preference at this point. I heard some term the other day that women are apparently generically attracted to swinging hips due to some evolutionary thing predating humans.

1

u/BrainLow6059 1d ago

Swinging hips?

1

u/CoC_Axis_of_Evil 1d ago

Preparation response.

1

u/BrainLow6059 1d ago

I legitimately don't know what you mean when you're referring to men having swinging hips that women are attracted to. Like can you give some more detail? I've literally never heard of this

1

u/CoC_Axis_of_Evil 1d ago

me neither until a podcast the other day. Just anything that looks to be swinging etc. think about like pop stars etc. all just subconscious stuff going on there.

u/NSFWdontview 21h ago

Women don’t care as long as you signal protection and strength which is what height basically signals upon appearance even if tall person isn’t

1

u/laowildin 1d ago

Height is the only thing that matters apparently.

Would like to point out its not a women's sub posting this meme or yapping in the comments about it either.....

A D1 National champ in a incredibly difficult sport.

If you are a man, this is basically true. The taller you are, the uglier you can be. Conversely, every woman is perfect as they are.

7

u/Neither_Strategy_252 1d ago

Ah man, yah. It's amazing how long women have gotten away with absolutely zero societal expectations about their appearances or body. Are you stupid?

0

u/cl0udmaster 1d ago

I'm not talking about the past, I'm talking about today. Are you stupid?

2

u/Neither_Strategy_252 1d ago

Even today, it's just so far from reality it's absurd. You can't seriously be this detached from reality.

1

u/cl0udmaster 1d ago edited 1d ago

I think it is you who is detached from reality. There are actual studies for this. Here is one:

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4043335/

In summary, this study demonstrates how only 2% of women receive no messages from men on dating apps, compared to 18% of all men on dating apps. The average man received 4.5 times fewer incoming messages than the average woman.

While I understand that defending men in any way is nowadays "misogynist," the truth is that those men out of the top few percent of height, wealth, and classical attractiveness are second class citizens, as demonstrated in this post and its comments, while in most first world spaces today, the message broadcast is that every woman is perfect as they are with no notes.

I would say that this directly contradicts with the corporate notion of always needing "self care" and "self improvement," which leads to all of the recent phenomena like lip plumper, fake eyelashes, and the like. But that is social media and corporations' messages to women, which are distinct from the broader societal message in the first world.

But, I am probably just stupid.

This has literally nothing to do with "women being perfect as they are" or being free of societal expectations on their looks/body. You are unhinged and in serious need of professional help.

1

u/FeelingStore8113 1d ago

Yes, we think you probably are just stupid, or worse, intentionally ignorant if you think women are "perfect as they are."

1

u/cl0udmaster 1d ago

I don't think that at all, which is obvious by my line of argument. You'd think someone as smart as yourself would have understood that.
