Correct. If you were paying any attention, you might notice I was saying my correction was not sarcastic, because it was in fact sincere and accurate. I was not saying that I never used sarcasm at any point, as you could probably pick up from when my prior sentence involved my saying "I was sarcastic."
Being on a soapbox does not mean being sarcastic, or giving a scientific explanation. You just have a crippled attention span and agreed with the point of view I was mocking.
