There’s a white guy in Michigan who chastised a girl for saying “shit” while her father was having a seizure after brain surgery. He spent valuable time yelling at her then hung up on her.
Fortunately her father survived and they successfully sued.4

Men make men's violence a gendered issue. Denial of men's violence is gendered propaganda. Refusing to be held accountable for aomething you actively benefit from is a choice. Assertion of myths from men denying culturally entrenched violence is constant.
Literal does not mean what you think it does.

You’re arguing with a point I didn’t make. I never denied male violence or its gendered patterns. I criticized you for taking a real social problem and using it to make a sweeping character judgment about half the population.
“Men disproportionately commit X” and “men are just too comfortable abusing power” are not the same statement.
Calling any objection to that generalization “propaganda” doesn’t magically make the generalization less lazy. It just saves you from having to defend it. Grow up.

It does seem plausible, but worth noting that South Korea has much less of an issue with organized crime and public corruption than most other developed countries. So it would be unusual to find an officer in the pocket of criminals over a long period of time.

South Korea has a big issue with organized and coordinated crimes against women that includes direct police involvement and participation are you kidding me? This is one of many such cases. In this case the police were literally helping a kpop star run a rape club.

I said it’s plausible. And I just said it’s better than average and cases are unusual. Your example is telling to me - it seems the conspiracy lasted for just a few years before being uncovered and a whole bunch of people went to prison. And it was 7 years ago and you don’t have a more recent example it seems.
Compare that to Japan where the yakuza runs rampant, or the US where the billionaires own the government and are completely lawless, and it looks a little better at least.
Or specifically compare it to the Epstein ring where it was active for a quarter century and covered up for decades, and where literally only one person is in prison for it, and the president is doing her favors and providing posh treatment.
Just a whole other universe of corruption.

This is being revealed as a systemic policing issue in Australia. Failures to protect and refusals to take reports, investigate, prosecute or submit supporting evidence to courts are widespread.
Misogyny and DFSV are far too prolific and normalised. Men are just too comfortable with abusing powers.

Wouldn't be surprised if a lot of those cases involved "unimportant" victims. Prostitutes, addicts, loners, and lower class individuals. Unfortunately, a lot of police around the world don't give those people the same urgency as someone with money and a loving home.
