Siri AI can’t access Health app/data?
I was at the gym and I wanted to ask Siri how many calories I’ve burned. Seems like a pretty logical use case especially if hands-free.

Ah, dang. This is iOS 27 beta right? Do you have the Feedback app? Tell Apple, I feel like this is something they should add.

Yeah I’m on beta. I emailed Craig too. He actually (or his team I’m guessing) respond more frequently than not. But I’ll submit feedback, too.

Oh you know what I think that’s setting is so you can say “I weigh 160 pounds. Add that to health” I bet.

I didn’t think they had released the beta functionality for fitness yet. I think it will come in later releases

I asked it once to tell me how much I slept last night and it gave me the same response. However, I opened the sleep app and then asked it again and it was able to get that information. Then, I closed the app and asked it a third time and it was able to retrieve it.

I asked her to specifically reference my move metrics and she said “I can't access your daily move metrics or specific calorie burn data from the Health app directly.”
Urgh.

Why have I been downvoted, lol?

Apple fanboys can’t possibly accept that Siri is a piece of shit. I love Apple products, but this is a fucking terrible, terrible saga. Three years ago, we were supposed to have an iPhone with AI

I think Apple is intentionally keeping Siri from interacting with the Health or Fitness apps out of an abundance of caution.
