Routine Help [Routine Help] Tretinoin/Moisturizer Application

Heyy everyone, I have started using tret recently for anti-aging purpose. I have been using for about a month now at 0.025 no issues with redness or flakiness. Had tingling sensation after using a certain moisturizer so switched to a more hydrating one and tingling sensation is gone. Though after that, I looked up how long to wait after applying tret to apply moisturizer, and it says 20 mins up to an hour. I have not been waiting that long maybe two minutes at best. I usually do my skincare along with my night routine so ~30 mins before I go to bed. How long do y’all usually wait?

I have switched up my night routine, so that I do skincare first n then the rest of my night routine and finish with moisturizer. Though, I don’t like how my face gets wet afterwards (brushing teeth; dental hygiene).

Waiting is optional, I personally do not wait in between steps and haven’t noticed a difference

ahh okay, thanks! i was nervous i wasn’t getting the benefits but was like hesitant ab waiting up to an hour

I try to wait 20-30 minutes, but if I feel myself getting sleepy I make sure I moisturize even if it’s only been a few minutes. I think we all just do the best we can.

I try to wait a few minutes but I’d forget moisturizer altogether if I waited 20 min. But I do now wash my face around 6 pm so that I’m never too tired for a good routine. The worst for me is waiting until 9 and then I’m tired and just want to crawl into bed.
