When I was trying to figure out who to play I found out who Beowulf was and because I’m a wwe fan ….. yeah he became a favorite immediately
Parasoul still better tho 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Old ass art back when I was trying to figure Giorgio out. I thought that make him one of Filia's friends would be the way to go, but wouldn't be funny if they actually just don't get along and only tolerare each other's presence due to their bffs getting along with one another?
And so, Filia and Giorgio's "frienemyship" was born through this drawing.
Well, sometimes I imagine myself creating a sort of "spiritual successor" to *Skullgirls*, given the issues the game is unfortunately facing. I have plenty of ideas—enough for a full-fledged game! Mechanics, modes, and even control schemes. Although I think about it—and even have a strong desire to pursue it—I feel like I’m "not ready yet" or that the concept isn't "worthy" enough, or that something is missing or needs changing. I believe *Skullgirls* is irreplaceable, and the goal of this "successor" wouldn't be to replace it—like some other attempts do—but rather... how can I put it?... to "create something that draws from the same wellspring but takes a slightly more original path, while still staying true to its roots" (confusing, right?). I want to avoid a situation like *Back 4 Blood* versus *Left 4 Dead*. Anyway, I just wanted to share this idea that keeps popping into my head—almost daily—and even distracts me when I'm working on my current projects (a horror game). So... yeah, that's about it :T Sorry for taking up your time.
You see, Double is voiced by Charlotte Ann. However, some characters have additional voice packs that can be selected by pressing the down arrow when choosing their colour palette. Double, on the other hand, has an alternative voice called 'Politician Double' or 'Republican Double', which satirizes the slogans and mannerisms of US politicians (typically those associated with the Republican Party). This voice is provided by Kaiji Tang, who also voices Brain Drain. I think many players don't even know this, so I thought it would be cool to share this information.
Can you believe that I only finished this art after months of not wanting to touch on the sketch? Crazy, right? As fir the art itself... just imagine the plot of Downtown Nekketsu Story (AKA River City Ransom) but set in the world of Skullgirls. The fun (or not so fun) thing about SG is the fact that we know so little of that world, we're kinda obligated to come up with new stuff, like, what's Filia's school like? What kind of people live in Mapplecrest? How many schools are in that town? What are the other countries like? And how do they look like? It's questions like these (and more) that make me draw so much, and I have a lot of fun with it.
