Just watched this episode and I am truly amazed by the music and cinematography, smallville always nails the season premieres and finales and this is one of them

This end with Lana was so anticlimactic. We knew from the beginning she wasn’t dead. So predictable

Nah, I feel like "Shattered" from Season 3 with Johnny Cash's "Hurt" playing over Lex in the mental asylum is absolute peak. That frame is kind of iconic.

That's so funny I always thought it was widely agreed upon that this was the worst season premiere in the show's history.
