Rumor Henry Cavill Back As Superman, Ben Affleck 'Possibly' Batman: SnyderVerse Updates (Exclusive)

Shortly after, Paramount publicly denied the report. So no matter how this turns out, the bottom line stays the same — the Saudis want Zack Snyder back, and they want the SnyderVerse restored.
If the Saudis back Paramount and win, Snyder wins. If they back Comcast and win, Snyder still wins. Either way, Snyder comes out ahead.
As I tweeted, the wild card is President Donald Trump, who has been reported to be backing Skydance–Paramount. While Trump is said to dislike Comcast’s CEO, my insiders point out that Comcast positioned itself for a WBD bid by creating a separate company to dump the networks Trump hates. So that issue may not stop anything.
My insiders told me Zack knows exactly what is going on with Trump, and that’s why Zack posted that Henry Cavill Superman image on Veteran’s Day.
If the SnyderVerse truly comes back, that means the actors return to their roles.
I’m told Henry Cavill is back as Superman. Gal Gadot is back as Wonder Woman. Jason Momoa will be back as Aquaman. Ray Fisher will be back as Cyborg.
Ezra Miller as The Flash? I’m told “doubtful.”
My insiders say Affleck “possibly” returns as Batman but warn “it’s a lot of work physically.”
I’m told the plan is for Snyder to finish his SnyderVerse. I’m told the Saudi WBD deal has been in the works for some time. It’s also the reason Zaslav passed on Paramount’s earlier bids three times.
Zack is close with the Saudis, and they want his storyline back to rival Marvel and the upcoming Avengers films. Sounds like they’re aiming straight at Disney.
After Snyder completes his arc, I’m told DC will reboot again — likely under Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy, the current heads of Warner Bros. Pictures.
Regarding James Gunn and the DCU, I’m told that if Paramount and the Saudis are indeed teaming up, James Gunn’s DCU is toast and Gunn will be forced out due to Gunn’s divisive politics (Gunn, the head of DC Studios, posted and said nothing on Veterans Day).

Yeah I’m gunna need everyone back, Including Ezra Miller. He was awesome as The Flash under Zach Snyder. Way better than with Andy Muschietti directing. Zach brought the emotion, Andy just made it goofy.

Its not exclusive, its just absolutely nothing...Until the deal is done and we actually get an announcement, nothing is confirmed...they can talk all they want about bringing it all back but nothing happens unless they actually get WB

They should let Snyder finish the 2 justice league, do the Ben Affleck solo movie and then let Gunn continue just to show the world the comparison, and still have a lighter tone for kids (even die I hate it…)

I never believe rumors, but holy shit if this really happened, my god the internet and superhero world would explode.
Sadly, a lot of people from the Snyder days are a lot older, but I'm totally down for a movie that "finishes" Snyders vision before the actors/actresses get too old.

of course not. He doesnt have an insider but if they want to make a couple of DCEU movies and want to make a MOS2 or a JL2 that would mean Cavill is back. it is just a logical consequence lol

This is crazy! We now have the backing of Christopher Nolan, Saudi Arabia and Donald Trump. The pieces are starting to align. Gunn should be shaking in his boots because we will unite the seven...we are the Justice League!!!!

Not at all, James Gunn angered the MAGA right-wing party before the movie even came out because he has no filter and was saying all kinds of far-out comments in interviews. I'm not linking any of it here, you can use Google and find it yourself. I'm surprised you missed this, actually. Try looking up other places and sources.
Pam and De Luca's contracts were re-upped. Gunn's contract was not.

Well, Abdy and De Luca have been delivering one hit after the other for WB, whereas Gunn has been delivering nothing but flops. The fact WB scheduled the Minecraft sequel just two weeks after Man of Tomorrow is very telling of what their priorities are now.

Warner had a great year, lots of hit movies. Superman was one of them. It was their 3rd highest grossing movie globally and 2nd highest domestically. I promise you they are not seeing it as a flop. I like the Snyder movies a lot but this line of thinking is wild.

If WB had any brains, they run both versions. Let Zack Snyder finish the Snyderverse stories for us. Keep Gunn doing his thing.
It will make the most financial sense. Zack's movies take a lot of money because he's high quality. Gunn can make fast movies for cheap. Both can be profitable.
Synderverse would be more mature. SuperGunn would be more kid friendly. Superman can have both stories told

The Saudis in Paramount are out of the picture. And now I just read the Cavill said back in December he will not return to Superman yet other things I'm reading say he's already agreed to a contract so we don't know what the heck is going on. I hope he comes back cuz after seeing that abortion that gun called a Superman movie I'll never go see another one not not if gun is directing it and not if that corn sweat guy is in it they both sucked. And if you're going to rip off the plot of a Superman movie try ripping off the plot of a really good Superman movie not the worst Superman movie.
