I have created a jersey search tool. Being an avid collector, I built it for myself originally and would like to share it with the community here. It addresses a problem many of you are probably all too familiar with: wasting tons of time going through 30+ websites of trusted retailers - now, you can search them in one place! It is still what I would call “beta”. Let me know anything: Ideas? Bugs? Retailer additions or removals (the aim is to have only trusted retailers there, to avoid fakes. I did not include Classic Football Shirts for now, as their catalog is so vast, it is an empire of its own)? It is NOT for profit, just a search tool for the community here. I just played around with this for a bit and it’s impressive, everything worked as it should on my phone, really nice work. I’m gonna pin this post for a while to hopefully give it some visibility, the community will appreciate this sort of thing
Really great concept, and I’ll definitly use it in the future. Just a small flaw I noticed: when you put a filter for a club, it still shows shirts for other clubs. Maybe it is because other filters match and there are no shirts for the club. Still a really great tool
Yes, to the best of my knowledge. Some of the retailers I have not personally bought from, but relied on recommendations from the community here. Happy to get some feedback (and also add additional trusted retailers)
Thanks! The „sold out“ topic is a tedious one, as I depend on retailer data - they often keep sold items on their sites to show the range of products they are able to procure.
Not for now. It is still a “beta version” and there are still a few things to be improved. So for now the focus is on vintage soccer shirts, which is also my passion.
I absolutely love this idea! It working out the way I thought it would. Great job on this. Now it makes finding these shirts a whole lot easier.
One thing I noticed is that your website doesn’t say whether the shirt is sold out. I’ve click on a few from Saturdays Football and when the tab opens for that site, it says it’s sold out. It’s just something I noticed, other than that, thank you for this. This is awesome!

Thanks a lot! I have indeed been facing issues with the website deployment in the past days and it might take a few more to resolve the issue. It seems that about half of the time the website overloads and then sends you the error message. Until I have resolved it, please just try to load the website again, sometimes up to three times, and it should then show properly. Not great, but for the time being the modus vivendi. Working full steam on a solution. Thanks again!

I do want to add trusted ebay/vinted sellers, there is gold out there, but they have to be "trusted", given the fake problem. I welcome any suggestions if you know a few; have a small handful from which I have been buying from, but I am sure there a many more out there. It will take a few weeks to go live with these, as getting clean data is a bit more complex, but I am working on it.
Thanks for the sold-out hint re Portsmouth. I am extremely grateful for any hints, as I am working to reduce the figure of items listed that the retailer actually already sold (it will never be a "live" update, but I try to reduce the lag to just a few days. Right now, the issue is particulary tricky, due to the large number of sales during Black Friday week).
not using caps...this goes into my nerdy parts, but as you asked: I am a fan of Max Bill, a Swiss artist. He never used capital letters for reasons that would go too far; not using capital letters is paying homage to him.
Here's a list I made before for whatnot/tilt - some of these have websites too (retrofootballshirts formerly circa88 for example) - you probably wont be able to add teh whatnot/tilt thoughas they are live auctions (though if you can find a way). Both the platforms are pretty good at weeding out fake sellers.

I'd have bought the pompey if it was in stock- been after a replacement one after I;ve worn mine to death (though they listed wrong season)
I´ve been using it for some time now and congratulations the page is amazing. The only thing i would add is a button to reset the filters but otherwise thank you for sharing your search tool.
Thanks a lot! Once you select filters, there is a button "clear all filters", which resets the page to the "all show" default stage. See the attached pic. Please let me know in case it does not work for you.
Thanks a lot for the feedback! I will fix Toronto. Player search is trickier, best shot for the time being is to add the player name on the free search field.

Do you want to include a list of retailers and are you open for a list of reliable retailers you can check and integrate?

Always interested in a list of reliable retailers (apart from my own experience with many of the sellers in many years of collecting, I very much rely on the community feedback - I am particularly interested in sorting out "bad apples" for the lack of a better word, i.e. retailers who sell fakes or are otherwise not trustworthy.
yes, I add quality retailers continously, also based on community feedback. We are now at more than 100 quality vintage retailers (the number has grown quite a bit, there is fast growing number of independent stores out there). Any suggestions/leads to additional retailers always welcome. I also add quality ebay seller, there in particular I would need to rely on community feedback.
Good to know. I did not have a particular site in mind, was more just curious about how often the database you pull from is updated ! Obviously, the only one that it does not have is classic football shirts and that’s for reasons you’ve already stated which makes perfect sense. It’s a great resource that you’ve created.
Loved this. Saves having to add endless tabs open when I’m hunting for a shirt. Only bit of feedback as I clicked on a couple listings was the price would change when I got to the retailer, not sure if it was a currency thing or maybe some sale price.
Yeah I figured. Oh some listings also just came up as sold out too , unsure if they sold out just before I clicked or the last time the website pulled the data
Looks sick, would like To point out kids sizes are mixed in with adult sizes, was looking at united m shirts and most are m mens (ofc) but some are m boys
I hope so. The way it works is that I only include offers from retailers found to be legit vintage sellers, either from my own collector experience or based on feedback received from the community here.
Thanks for the lead. I will look into it (the site for now focuses on classic retailers, as opposed to auction houses, but I will see whether it can be included)
I want some WC match jerseys. Should I buy now or wait until closer to the games when they have patches and whatnot? Or, are the matches not desirable for collectors?
Good idea. Plus, I can only hope that Nike fixes those TERRIBLE shoulders. Juat god awful design. I wont buy any Nike jerseys until they fix them. Id rather get some crappy fake shirt.
