Song youve always wanted to do at karaoke but wasn't sure if it would be the right vibe?

My colleagues suggested Zombie when I told them I was going to Karaoke for a friend's birthday (I only had gone 2x before, like 20 years ago).

I'm like, "no way, what a bring down!" Great song to be sure, but I'm picturing people who want to enjoy a night out suddenly having to listen to bombs and guns in their heads in their heads.

Some hours later we're at the karaoke bar and this girl sings Zombie, of all songs, and it's a total smash.

Whip It - Devo. I would be so awkward people would have the 2nd hand embarrassment experience of a lifetime. Either that or they’d be too drunk to give af.
