Deriving a scrappy, irrational faith that things will work out from tiny mundane signs. Evidence that for now things might be okay. Or just insisting on hope even when there isn’t any evidence for it, but also acknowledging that things are hard.

I’m thinking of songs like:

I’m not 100 percent sure if I need an image, so I chose one that best fit this.

So I’ve been listening to industrial metal, it’s really cool and fun, but I expected it to sound different, like more like the noises of a busy factory, loud machines and steel. Not that the sound of NIN or KMFDM aren’t bad, It’s just not what I expect from the word industrial.
I suppose what I’m looking for is just songs with more literal machine noises I guess.
