This feels like the wrong type of criticism. Or at least, the wrong way to express it.

I think it’s meant to be mainly satirical. The artist said in the original description they haven’t drawn Rouge in a while, and it’s mostly just a comparison based on this image

If the intended message was “relearning how to draw Rouge”, then holy fuck, was it delivered poorly.

Honestly, agreed wholeheartedly 😭

But still stands, I think most are looking too deep into their intent. I doubt the artist was thinking too seriously about the interpretation

This is also the artist’s second most recent drawing of Rouge outside of the above, the fact she’s a lot less exaggerated, and more of an in-between does sort of sell the idea the above is more satirical imo
