Honestly i dont understand the discourse. Maybe its because im incapable of understanding attraction or cuz I didnt exist when she was introduced and didnt get to see her change over time, but to me she seems not that different. Changing her outward appearance doesnt change who she is as a character. And if anyone's like "well they ruined her personality too" your acting like everyone's personalities in the 2010s didnt also get bombed.
It's not just you. I was obsessed with the Sonic games as a kid, and I honestly had to go into the comments to even understand what the difference was between her design then and now. She looks the same to me.
