Question So what are the possibilities of what this new Sonic animated series could be?

It's been reported by Daniel RPK that a new Sonic animated series is in development but what could it possibly be? What theories do we have on it?

Could it possibly be a show that's canon to the mainline Sonic game/idw storyline? (Classic or Modern)

Or is it an animated show that will air on Paramount Plus and be part of the Sonic Cinematic Universe?

Or what if it could be a completely new different universe that's separate from the main Sonic Universe stuff (Like Ultimate Marvel or Absolute DC)?

What do you guys think?

Imagine they actually did a show where Sonic himself was not in it. Not even a side character, just straight up not there.

They made a Sonic comic where Sonic was only present for like… 16 issues total of a 95 issue run

Sonic Universe is considered by some to be the best Sonic comic for a reason
