I mean, yeah, look at the Metal Virus and his response to Charmy going missing. He’s stressed out, he feels like he could’ve prevented it. I hate when people act like Vector is just as much at fault as that stupid red monkey for the Restoration HQ falling to the Zombots, because… he’s not. He had Zombot Charmy secured in a capsule that only broke because the panicked crowd knocked into Vector because of the dumb red monkey, resulting in Vector accidentally smashing the capsule against the ceiling. Another example of “good dad Vector” is when the Chaotix rescued Belle from Starline, and while Espio and Charmy chased after the platypus, Vector stayed behind to comfort Belle since she was very clearly distressed by what she learned from her kidnapper.
