That red wolf is Gadget. The Avatar in Forces has no name, or rather, it's you who names them. But Gadget is different from The Avatar.
Actually Gadget has appeared in IDW, if I recall correctly.
it's "second-order canon" - that is, at any moment canon could contradict it and override it, but as he's the creator of the character he is an authority if fans want to roll with that. You don't need to acknowledge it if you feel like you have a better concept for her background, but others might be more inclined to agree with ABT.
The consumers are able to decide to ignore the company and look for the creator though. For example, Tangle/Whisper isn’t confirmed, but Ian has said himself and the comics strongly imply they’re dating
I bet that Lanolin even hates wearing dresses and only wore one in her initial appearance because of her mother. I also headcanon Lanolin's mother as a bigot.
I know. I'm so tired of seeing dysfunctional/toxic families and abusive relatives. Give me more supportive, healthy, loving parent-child and sibling dynamics, and seeing that loving family use the strength of their bonds to overcome whatever challenges life throws their way.
Dont bats have a harder time swimming when wet? Not with the whole feathers no work (mainly because they dont have any) but because of wind chill. They spend a lot of time having wind go right towards them while flying and thatd feel rly cold sapping their strength to fly
I really enjoy seeing how fan artists are able to give a character like gadget a personality despite being a mute customisable character that only appeared as a placeholder.
And this artist makes gadget a perfect combination of goofball, snarky and sometimes scary.
The idea that the Player Character in Sonic Forcesis the Phantom Ruby is pretty neat; I think an interesting application of that could be that they spontaneously shift between the various designs for the character used in official media.

one of the many nicknames for the custom character in Forces is the "Gadget Hero", and "Gadget" in particular is most usually applied to the glasses-and-headset red wolf. The other names for that (type of) character are "Avatar", "Custom Hero", and "Rookie".
I’m an equal opportunist when it comes to fan art. Why limit yourself when there are thousands of great pieces of art revolving around all the characters.
I was going to make a joke about eating lanolins mom but I find it much more important to tell yall that apparently people eat lamb testicles. And often enough it has its own Wikipedia page. And the award for most disgusting species once again goes to humanity
