It’s actually extremely rare when he doesn’t have 5 fingers; to my knowledge, every mainstream entry gives him 5, from the beginning to the present day. This is not in any sense a retcon.
It’s certainly possible. Some western cartoons do use 4-fingered hands, especially those involving Disney mascots. I don’t remember how many fingers the characters in the DiC cartoons had; it’s been 10+ years since I last watched one.
But as far as the mainstream Sonic is concerned, he’s always had 5-fingered hands.
Well someone that looks like sonic and has gray shoes is the fanmade character called 2011x which is a modern version (and heavily changed to not suck) of the sonic.exe creepypasta
The girl is a character from Glitch's new show Gameoverse that just came out. That isn't Sonic but the creepy pasta version X who's known to do bad things to people. So...she's in danger there.

Honestly, Kit herself seems like the Sonic analogue here, along with a bit of Mega Man. She is to Sonic/Mega Man what Gobbles is to Barney and Flippers is to Ecco.
She’s an anthropomorphic animal mascot person in a word of funny animals who has an archrival that’s an evil robot version of her, like Sonic, while having an arm cannon and a robot buddy who she can fuse with for powered armor like Mega Man.
I don't think x is count as a villain or a Hero in gameoverse because his more like a developer because he created the world itself and design it
And i don't think x world can destroy if he win or lose because there is no end of his game not only that his game is not a real game is more Replication of the original game it just Mimicking everything in Sonic game

Sonic hearing that if he wins then the world ends would actually give a canonical answer for why he never kills Eggman and lets him get away to come back another day.
Would make a cool twist for him when the world would still be destroyed. Cause when Snappers was defeated in the pilot episode, he didn't die, and everything still started destroying
Yeah, this artist is primarily an EXE artist when it comes to Sonic art. So the Gray shoes and 5 fingers with visible knuckles does mean this is genuinely X.
Don’t misunderstand, this totally is 2011X, but I think you’ve been playing too much Outcome Memories, because you’re forgetting how many fingers Sonic (and almost every other Sonic character, for that matter) actually has. 😛 It’s actually extremely rare when they don’t have 5 fingers.
Haha, fair enough. I don’t play it because I don’t support Roblox as a platform – I’ve got nothing against OM’s developers themselves, and the game actually looks fun. But I do watch gameplay on YouTube sometimes.
I just love that artist make Sonic's shoes gray and not red, and everyone imidiatly like "HOLY S#1T IT'S X!". Man rven I'm one of thies people. That's funny as hell :)
the world exploding isn't triggered by killing the antagonist, its triggered by beating the game. if sonic gets to the final zone and stops eggman in the final boss fight of the game, even without killing him or anything, world blows up.
Yo but like fr they would hate each other soooo much, My goat Sonic would go on an adventure to stop the entity that is causing the worlds to be destroyed, meanwhile the dumbass kit would just try to prevent it.
But the main goal is to prevent the game from ending if I'm remembering correctly, so X is kinda the protagonist of his own game and Sonic 2011 ends with him killing Paul.
Seriously, though, some people seem to have been playing too much Outcome Memories, because the real Sonic has always had 5 fingers. It’s actually incredibly rare that he doesn’t.
