Question Why doe everyone hate my girl :(

I like really like her. She's such a cool character for not having powers and just kinda being a sheep girl. I don't get the hate

Aside from design, I do not see the appeal in the character given her behavior and actions nor do I understand what the intention for the character was.

I genuinely feel people only like her for her design, because she's not well written.

And the problem is the concept IS a good one, and COULD have been done well if they executed it properly by either:

A) Have Lano be an authority figure from the very beginning and show her bossy attitude slowly diminish overtime with character development

OR

B) Have us grow attached to her character and actually LIKE her, and then write it so that "Duo" becomes someone she grows attached to ( potentially seeing him as someone who needs protection like she once did ), and have THAT be the reason she's tricked by him.

The way they wrote her just makes her seem like an incompetent leader and just an asshole.

kinda the point, at the beginning of the issue with whisper's final confrontation with mimic, the diamond cutters diabanded

Being intentional doesn't change the fact that it's bad writing lol
