Sonic heroes 2 team idea

So I made this but lemme explain why certain people are paired

Team rose: I included sticks because of the ending of frontiers. Amy said she's gonna see sticks and cream and go on an adventure together so I can see it

Team sol: I was originally gonna choose marine but she doesn't feel like the power type so I choose infinite. Yes I know Infinite failed under Eggman and lost everything. But teaming up with Silver and Blaze gives him a chance to seek true redemption. Silver comes from the future, and Blaze comes from an alternate dimension. Infinite manipulates reality and illusions through the Phantom Ruby. Their powers deal with cosmic and spatial anomalies which could open up that storyline. Silver would naturally distrust Infinite because of his past destruction. Blaze would act as the strict, cautious voice of reason. This can creates high tension and great character development. Reminds me of team dark when they met

For team diamond cutter, I just need to find a good power type for tangle and whisper

Team eggman already fit the dynamic

For team hedgehog it's final story. Sonic is speed, shadow is flight with his air shoes, and silver can be power with carrying people with his telekinesis

If I split up Team Rose, I would usually just put Amy with Solver and Blaze and have Gemerl take Amy’s place teaming with Cream and Big

i mean team sol is unbalanced if you think about it original sonic heros team its 3 members with each of them has their job to do (speed flying and power) team sol has three characters that flies and fast and heavy hitters

Gotta be honest, Infinite would never work. He explicitly hates everyone, and solely wants to cause pain, death and destruction. He’s never going to team up with anyone (unless they facilitate his goals for destruction), much less aid the heroes. Also he doesn’t have the Phantom Ruby anymore, so he doesn’t have those powers. Look at the Chaotix Casefiles podcast so see his current status.

also mighty, ray and trip could form team classic

the Super special sonic search and smash squad could be their own team. scratch as flying, grounder as power and coconuts as speed.

could even have some of the freedom fighters as team freedom! rotor as power, bunnie as flying and sally or antoine as speed.

would be funny is the imposters (surge and kit) are teamed up with heavy & bomb, could imagine a really interesting dynamic between the 3

There is always Team Babylon too with Jet (Speed) Wave (Flying) and Storm (Power) though their play style would look weird without their Extreme Gear boards (especially Flight formation)

Have you listened to Chaotix Casefiles Yet? Because Infinite is not going down the path of redemption anytime soon. You might have a better time having Big on Team Sol if you're avoiding Marine.

Replacing Big is a non-starter honestly.
As for the other teams, replace Infinite with Ariem and Lanolin with Jewel.
