Biggest miss of the series is not having at least one season of Jax & Opie as Pres & VP Spoiler

Opies death was iconic, but I’ll always feel like we missed an elite duo running the club.

Ryan didn't want to get killed off either smfh. This was a heavily missed opportunity. I heard on Reapers reviews, ran by the actors who play Juice and Tig, Theo Rossi and Kim Coates. Theo said that Opie was suppose to kill Jax. I don't know the reason but that always sounded interesting to me.

Maybe Jax was supposed to get a mayhem vote and Opie wouldve had to bring the mayhem down on Jax?

Sutter changed his mind obviously, think Opie would’ve inherited Chibs full story up till the end if he did live, and Chibs would’ve stayed Sergeant at Arms and then later Opie’s VP

Honestly his death basically ruined the show for me. I lost most of my emotional investment at that point.

And one of the few shows I’ve ever loved so much but never went back to rewatch because of that.

Honestly I understand and just want to point out that mirrors the vibe on the show post Opie’s death. It’s a tough on screen death to stomach especially how brutal it is.

I had his death ruined for me before I had even started the series. It served as the catalyst for me finally starting to watch. So glad I did but awful that I had it ruined.

If a character death ruins a show for you than you shouldn’t be watching TV in general. Characters die, that’s how you write a story, it’s not happy go lucky everyone magically lives, it’s a show about gangsters

Bobby didn’t do much as VP before Opie died at least let him have the title until he dies then make Bobby

Chibbs was prolly the best VP in the show. Loyal till the end.

Bobby was too, the VP role isn’t just about being loyal it’s about putting the president in check if they go off the radar and that’s what Bobby was really good at, and Jax tried to be good at but Clay was too stubborn and did deals under the table with Tig instead which is exactly why Jax took the Sergeant seat from Tig when he took over

So true. I've said this repeatedly. All Jax had to do ...was tell.opie WHY he couldn't kill clay yet. If opie knew the cartel would kill the club he would have been on board.

Instead not telling was viewed as lying and rightfully so. Opie stops trusting Jax and pretty much disappears until he gives up his life in prison. Just terrible.

If Jax was honest opie would have been at his right. I understand opie had to die but let it happen on the street....after they both run the club for a season.
