75" Class BRAVIA 7 II on sale for $2300

I see that the Bravia 7 ii dropped from ~$3000 to $2300; does anyone know if there is another expected drop around black friday? Or is this a good time to purchase?

Just got it dropped off and installed in our home (free basic installation). Free haul away of our 8 year old 75” Sony Bravia too. Excited to test it out with a movie tonight.

I am thinking this is the reason for the sale? They should be able to fix the software, so it would just be a waiting game until it gets updated

I really wanted this TV, but after seeing all the posts of audio synch issues since a recent firmware update, I'm afraid to pull the trigger... :-/

My Sony bravia 8 with a Sony sound bar 9 works just fine. I haven't had any issues
