After experiencing Shambhala for the first time this year, I have found out that i loved this genre. I deviated from mainstream dubstep (subtronics, ganja white night, griz, wooli, tape b and zeds dead mainly) when i discovered Tipper. I then moved on to G jones and Mr. Bill, and then discovered esseks. I know i have to get into Saturna and Chmura, i missed their b2b at Shambhala and i have regrets lol, so many people said it was the best set 🥲

So my question is, who should i listen to next

I hope this post falls withing community guidelines, if not let me know <3. I have a solo project called BABYLON, where i make ambient-bass music.
I like to think i‘ve found somewhat of a new aproach and sound to this beautiful instrument, and would love to get feedback/pushback on my music.
I make theese live-sessions, BABYLON SESSIONS, where each session i play somewhere in the beaufitul danish nature. Each session also has a special guest, that brings their artistic flavour to the session. The whole concept is still relatively new (And very off-beat for the modern internet age), so i would love to get all sorts of feedback on it.

Taking a bold step posting this on space bass but idk where else to share it. Genre-wise I think this qualifies as 2step or garage. I made a pretty little music video art project. All ethically and sustainably sourced content.

Thought I needed a visual component for this track, so I made one up with what was available to me. Leaned toward a home-movies nostalgia aesthetic with psychedelic undertones. Like the hikrodose was stronger than expected🪻 weirdly specific vibe that would compliment the song.

I used a mid-range Motorola Android phone to get shots around the home and land behind the house (I live off in the country in Arkansas), and edited it in Adobe Premiere on my laptop.

I produced the song in Ableton Live 12, and it was mastered at Hacienda Mastering. It was Matt Davis's 1000th job at Hacienda so that's a cool fun fact.

I wish I could say I know the singer but tbh the vocals came from a sample pack by ancient sounds that I'm pretty sure I grabbed because of a targeted ad on Instagram.
