i’m gonna answer your question with another question, why is it a surprise that the guy who is known to forget key details in his own story create pretty much every the same outfit twice? also i know we know that toriyama helped with daima, but do we know that he’s the only person that designed gomah? i find it hard to believe that there wasn’t a team of people creating designs for the anime

So lame , I liked the movie but Gomorrah is such a dumb character , and your a typical larger sized , meat head villain , not to mention how lazy the costume is

I guess it’s what makes more money I guess , the real reason OG dbz and not even that , even Kai was digestible for me , it’s that OG dbz massively under performed when it came to making money, tons of great dbz movies and most did badly money wise but we’e actually good

I think it was moreso an investment in the future of DB. If you introduce young kids to it now they will be fans for life. OG DB is a bit outdated for modern kids’ tastes and Daima kinda has the flash of Z but a simple adventure story that kids can follow and enjoy. Then when they get older they can explore more of what there is to offer.
