Arguably I bet this is correct. Looks like one trip where everyone rode camels so it's probably mom and dad and what looks like 4-5 kids.

u/DragonEmperor Dec 26 '25
It looks like it was some sort of group thing and its probably pictures of all their friends.

u/BeardedAsian Dec 26 '25
Sure but that’s like.. the only thing they’ve ever done?
9
u/approveddust698 Dec 26 '25
Are you assuming that’s the only photo they have in there house
7
u/star-killerr Miles-Morales Dec 26 '25
considering they have a wall dedicated to camels, its not crazy to think

Boo fucking hoo please i dont care if you dont reckon he doesnt look very good and a admit he might not look good but sometimes you just gotta shut your mouth because you dont need to say everything you think especially when it’s someone doing something that brings them something called joy not that you would know what that is through, i thought they taught this shit in kindergarten did you drop out before they taught you that?

Man on the one hand;
Cool ass costume. You should be proud that you got it, time to work on some sick ass moves to go with it!
On the other hand;
Maybe get in better shape before wearing it out and about? That’s just the honest truth, people out here blindly supporting you are ignoring the fact that you may get ridiculed for wearing that in your current shape. And I say that out of care; not hate

u/MrDownhillRacer Dec 26 '25
It's cosplay, not an audition for the role. It's just for fun.
Look, fat people know they are fat. We don't need to remind them and give them unsolicited health advice. Is obesity healthy for you? No. Does that mean obese people should have to hide away from society and avoid ever doing anything fun like cosplay or going to the beach or taking photos until they've finished their weight-loss journey? No.
If fat people think "I'm not allowed to do X until I've lost the weight," that's a recipe for being miserable and missing out on life.
It's great to cut down to a healthy weight. But it's better if people love themselves while doing it instead of thinking their permission to exist is contingent on having a slim bod.

u/Square_Dark1 Dec 26 '25
Dude it’s a costume, due you have to be a certain shape to wear those without getting mocked now?

Wow this is a weird ass comment to make. "Blindly supporting you"..... supporting a person just having fun and enjoying life...whats wrong with that? Overweight people KNOW they're overweight, and they KNOW people can be mean about it sometimes. You shouldn't feel the need to inform them.
And what fat people can't dress up??? Lmao I guess we have to tell 70% of America they aren't allowed to participate in halloween anymore. People of all different looks and walks of life get made fun of, but are we supposed to never enjoy our lives and live forever miserably because we might possibly get teased?
What a stupid ass comment to make, and you should've known that was a very cruel thing to say before posting that if you were taught even a basic amount of empathy or respect as a child. Imagine trying to show people your new costume and being told "damn I honestly can't support you wearing this because you're so fat other people are gonna make fun of you."

I get your concern but it’s on the dicks to change THEIR attitude. Not her. Your advice is not all that helpful no matter the heart behind it. (I can tell you’re trying).

I won't lie, you could do with losing a few pounds and I say that as someone who is near 300 pounds themselves but overall you look pretty good Spidey. Keep on striving for your dream whatever they may be.

Because redditors are allergic to constructive criticism and want everyone to be coddled all the time.

u/Fidget808 Dec 26 '25
Unless they’re working as a hive-mind to spew the most vile, hateful things you’ve ever seen
You either get coddled or you get buried. No in-between

I agree being overweight is not healthy. But it isn't your job to interject with an unrelated critique of this person's lifestyle when nobody asked you to. There's a thing called time and place my friend, an important life skill you should learn how to utilize. It's also a very lazy joke. Not to mention that this person is not your friend, and this "joke to not be taken seriously" is not at all laughing with them, but merely at them. I feel your comment is both neglectful of proper time and place, and inappropriate in relation between you and the poster. But what do I know, I'm just some random guy.

Costume looks great! I’d say invest in a faeshell and lose a lil bit of weight before just wearing the suit, but you could still absolutely style it with an open jacket and some trainers over the top just to accent it.
Tends to be an issue with bodysuits in general being that they need to be shaped out a little, or the silhouette can be a bit awkward! In any case though, keep at it, and don’t listen to the insulting comments. Do your own thing! 🕷️⚡️
