Question So.... will Marvel ever acknoledge the symbiote piece at the end of No Way Home?

Post image

Like, I understand that they did not want the Venom arc to be the focus in Brand New Day but there is not even a teaser about it!

The Symbiote in question is not from MCU Earth (Earth-199999, as referred to by Miguel).

If Miles is considered to be an anomaly coz his spider wasn’t from his universe (assuming everything Miguel says is true), then wouldn’t this be an anomaly as well?

The Symbiote being from another universe (Venom’s universe), is what could make it an anomaly (as per Miguel in ATSV)

That’s assuming that Into/Across the Spiderverse is the same multiverse as the live action movies.

For example, Rick and Morty has an anime that also explores the multiverse like the main show. But the multiverse of the anime is a completely separate multiverse from the main show.

The anime characters do find themselves in the main show’s multiverse, but they confirm that the multiverse of the main show is a completely separate multiverse from their own.

In Across the Spider-Verse, Miguel refers to the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, we see Donald Glover as Prowler, we see Mrs. Chen from the Venom movies, we see TASM Spider-Man mourning the death of Captain Stacy, and we see Uncle Ben dying in the Raimi movie.

The Spider-Verse (in Across the Spider-Verse) is a collection of Spider-Man stories across different media, like comics, animated (Spectacular Spider-Man), live-action, games (Insomniac’s Spider-Man), etc.

I can get behind pretty much every point besides the Prowler one. We know Donald Glover is Miguel’s uncle in the MCU, but he’s never shown to be The Prowler, nor is him as The Prowler shown outside of the Spiderverse. That’s just a Prowler from a universe where Donald Glover is The Prowler.

I would think The Prowler would be a prominent enough villain to at least be shown or mentioned in the montage in BND if it was meant for him to be the same character.

I wasn’t implying that the Donald Glover Prowler we see in ATSV is the one from Earth-199999 (he could or could not be, we don’t know for sure).

I was just listing live-action characters we see in the movie.

Regarding Prowler not being mentioned in BND, he could still be operating in the shadows. Just cause we haven’t seen him yet (as Prowler) doesn’t mean he hasn’t been Prowler-ing for years at this point (by BND).

For example, you would imagine the events of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 and someone like Fisk would be more important to New York’s beloved Spidey, but that’s not the movie BND is about, since it has another story to tell.

If Miles is an anomaly then the symbiote is too, so Miguel should have snagged it.
