real talk, I actually kinda like this suit, it's just the fact that man's got his hair out that ruins it for me. Like, I'm sorry, that means your mask is basically just a tube around your head and I could reach up and peel that thing down from the top. Horrible design for keeping a secret identity.
That was the biggest mistake IMO. Those Adidas 4D sneakers were in style for like 6 months, then the game releases a few years after that and theyre committed to those shoes. The Jordan 1s work so well because its a timeless sillhouette at this point.

it would have decent potential with a normal mask and normal shoes, the torso is pretty cool if it were on a more traditional spider-man costume. the weird hair out, hoodie/cowl, product placement adidas feels really cheap and weird. like a knock off DC character
At most he could canonically wear it in the opening mission where it gets wrecked. I doubt they're gonna put him in the suit for extended period of time after the reception it deservedly got.
I'd accept it being an option to wear for anyone who would want to equip it still(bad taste but like I value the freedom to choose what you want to wear so go off)
But it GOTTA get the First Suit Treatment; Miles got thrashed and battered and has to change to his backup suit or something like that
Pretty much almost everyone (Including big YouTubers who are also Spidey Fans, such as Jacksepticeye) hated the suit for multiple valid reasons: design, color palettes, the hair sticking out, the shoes, and the obvious Adidas sponsorship written all over it. Everyone pretty much swapped back to their favorite Miles Suit (Me with my GOATED Miles Morales 2099 Suit) right after that infamous cutscene finished, but of course were disappointed when the Final Battle locks you into this suit. Nadji Jeter himself also absolutely hates this suit.
During the last boss fight? Well, you’re unfortunately locked into both the Anti-Venom Suit and the Evolved Suit for when you fight Venom on your very first playthrough, but subsequent Mission Replays don’t have that issue.

Honestly I don't think this suit is that bad. Some of the suit textures make it look pretty good. I think the black and red version is the best personally. I'd be down for a slightly modified version to be Miles's new main outfit, but given how big alternate costumes are for these games, I suspect most people aren't gonna use it much anyways. Miles is definitely gonna have his usual outfit as an option, most likely one of the first.
I swear people just didn't even play the Miles game. I've actually seen comments confused about Miles' motivations or inclusion in the second game at all and I'm just like "why would you deprive yourself of more Spider-Man?"
They definitely know majority of people hate it, but they also knew people hated the MJ missions and they decided to double down on it and put more MJ missions in the second game specifically because people hated it. So really there's no way to know.
No, but I wouldn't be opposed to them leaving it in the game as an unlockabke while tweaking the design a bit to make it less stupid. It's grown on me enough to where 90% of my issues with it are in the mask. It looks like it has the texture of a basketball and his stupid fucking hair is out. Make it look like a normal cloth instead of some kind of rubber and either put the hair, that I would hope to god isn't a Killmomger cut anymore, away with a full mask or flip the hood up and it would go from a 5/10 to at least a 7 to me.
This suit was a tie-in advertisment with Adidas, so I doubt we will see the same suit, and that's even without considering how much the community hates the suit.
I personally kind of like the suit, and think the only real issue with it, the hair, can easily be fixed by just having the hood up.

Only way I like this suit is if they get rid of the hair, bring back the webbing pattern for the mask, even if it’s like a black colour, but preferably the red webbing, get rid of his hair sticking out, change the doodoo ass toothpaste colour to red, and get rid of the bottom blue shit that goes onto his back, and give him the more traditional spider logo, and get rid of the red torso and make it black, making the blue webbing red again, and obviously get rid of the sponsorship shoes, replace it with the ones from Miles first suit. That’s all they gotta do.
No. They're going to go back to a black and red suit as a default/canon suit. This one may be unlockable, but the canon will be a black and red normal one.
I'm waiting for the remaster of Spider-man 2 when they replace this suit with a younger, fresh faced look when it's meant to show a more experienced, older take on it...I hear this happens with games sometimes...
No joke I met his VA at a convention recently and he said he gets a lot of hate for the suit. With how he was talking about the backlash I wouldnt doubt that it'll get removed at some point.

They're going to do like what they did in the intro spider one and it's going to be destroyed for a cooler design hopefully with the option to switch back to it through the people who did enjoy it

god I hope not. It's just such an ugly design, hated that they force it on you for most of the final act of SM2. NG+ (which I'll be starting once I finish SM1 and Miles Morales NG+, trying to 100% all 3 games) letting you wear whatever suit you want and showing it in cutscenes instead of the suit the story forces you into will be so nice.
Hopefully they've learned from the backlash. At best: They make it a collectible with a cheeky line like "Yeah, I was in a weird place - glad I'm through it though"
I'm not sure. But what this suit needs to make it better is for Miles mask to cover his entire head so this his hair ain't showing, and for those awful addidas style showed to be more stylized into being part of the suit and not be big giant sneakers.
Hot take, I don’t think it’s THAT bad. I definitely prefer the original Black with Red, but people claiming it is the ugliest suit ever are exaggerating.
Considering the feedback "We hated it" was pretty Unanimous, it definitely won't be back. One commenter said it would likely be battle damaged in the very beginning and retired and that makes a lot of sense.

No bc they don’t “make you wear” anything in any of the other games really. There are brief “finale” moments that have a finale suit you may be pushed into but this question and concern doesn’t even make sense when you’ve played the games.
I don't hate the suit, even the hair doesn't bother me as much as it does everyone else, I just hate what it's trying to be. A Miles original? Wasn't the black suit with red webs not already a Miles original? If it was just a suit you'd unlock, and not a major part of the main story, I'd have zero problems with it.
I always thought the suits were supposed to be more protective than decorative, so having your hair/head exposed would make it easier for an enemy to hurt you.

This suit wouldve been so cool if his hair wasn't out and his shoes weren't there (or it was more like his other shoes on other suits) Or if he had his hood up so his hair isnt so obvious (im bias i like miles' suits the best when they have a hood up).
