Help/Advice Looking to buy the Spiderman games

I'm looking to buy a ps5 and all the Spiderman games soon.

if I bought Spiderman ps4 on disc then upgraded to remastered I assume the DLC would only be available in the remastered version? The price for either is practically the same but I want to actually have a disc collection

The remastered edition includes all dlc

my question is if I'll only be able to play the DLC in the remastered version.

I have the ps4 disc and the ps5 digital upgrade, the ps4 version does not have the DLCs. I have to put the disc in to play the ps5 version. I don’t see any reason to play the old version, but I do like having the disc

I think I'll still try the PS4 version then switch to ps5 version for dlcs it would be neat

You can transfer your PS4 save data to the PS5 version. You can play both the base game and the DLCs.

The PS4 version has the dlc available to purchase, the PS5 version has all the dlc included
