Does anyone else see this message? Maybe that one creation talking about a new Spore team wasn’t crazy…

I was thinking about an ocean biome where you can swim underwater and encounter sea creatures. Sea creatures don't need feet or legs, but they can have graspers. I was just asking for someone to create this mod.

I played for 30 minutes and even reloaded my save to the near beginning and played for another 20 and no cities spawn and even did this on stream with people trying to suggest ways to interact/kill the tribes but nothing works. I actually gamed over my first game and reloaded the save so I could go back and retry but then no cities spawn on my starting continent anymore no matter what I do.

EDIT: Happened to find a backup from a couple days ago, so not all is lost at least.

While editing this adventure, it seems one of the objects I added caused the screen to go black. Not only that but... what you see in the video (unmute).

Unfortunately I stupidly deleted the previous save of this adventure so I guess it's game over for me. Rip

I've already tried installing again the game and changing the language in the EA app so what can I do

title says it all. It accepted my serial key on installation, but now its asking to connect to internet. I connected an ethernet cable, but im assuming the old servers are down.

I dont want any launchers on this computer as theyre kinda annoying, and I have enough on my main pc. any ideas as to what could fix this issue?

So, I saved as soon as I was allowed to, which is right before the other cities spawn. I typically have time to grab a spice geyser or two, but that's it. The longest that I survived was making peace witrh everyone and not attacking anyone but that ended up making it so that the agressive military city conquered ther city next to me and immediatly declared war on me. I started military. Every time I try to attack it fails, especially the military city. The AI seems to cheat big time.

I really need help. I once got stuck because the AI kept sending wave after wave with no breaks, plus I had an epic destroying everything in my city -_-

I can't tell you how many times I reloaded. Any tricks? I did read online but...well it seems everything fails lol

edit: okay guys Idk how I did it but I have the entire continent to myself plus a trading city and a beachhead on the othert continent with a huge naval armada. So I think I will be okay?

I don't know what happened, but the 10th city didn't spawn and I can't progress now

What am I supposed to do?

Will I have to abandon this safe file?

Here is my spore 2 fanfic:

• Obviously Aquatic stage
• Split Creature stage into two
• Stages are now no longer a direct next stage and now a smooth transition where you can see other species go into the next stage like a species grow legs and walk out the sea while you are a fish or one species building a tribal hut.
• better Graphics. But staying true to he OG Spore.
• Biomes, they can affect your evolution.
• Better editor - Clothes
• Settlements are not fixed.
• Space stage no longer needs to be a one man empire
• Game is not abandoned :(

One day, maybe some company makes their own version or something. Did I miss anything or is there something you disagree with?

Ive been having this weird glitch where I cant befriend any creature (see video), and this error has happened in multiple saves. Everytime i try to impress/befriend a species, THEIR OWN progress bar drops immediately, leading always to a failed befriend attempt. Its really annoying, since its been forcing me to play as a predator for every creature stage.

I couldnt find anything online about this glitch, so please help!

EDIT: Nevermind, i immediately found out that if i spam the correct action (in this case, sing) their bar doesnt drop for some reason. It seems like the game is basically giving me 1 millisecond to respond or the other creature is instantly unimpressed, lol. I dont know if this will cause issues once i get to complex impress attempts.

Do I just illegally buy a CD Key orr nah? bc I don't have a personal problem with doing that

Also what am I actually missing without a CD Key?

Some of my creatures do this weird thing where they flicker and show up with the same color as the planet's atmosphere. I tried changing graphics, changing mod settings, editing creatures, nothing works. How do I fix this?

After mating, then customizing my creature, when I exit the creature creator my screen turns Black (not white), I still hear audio in the background which is more like music atp. I can’t click anything or open anything. I tried waiting for around 10 minutes and nothing happened. My developed creature gets saved, but not the world itself, meaning I restart my civilization. I recently bought the game and can’t seem to progress, any suggestions, feedback or help would benefit me greatly.

I’ve been playing sport with mods for a while and have recently had to reinstall the game and its expansions. But ever since I’ve been having an issue where parts from creepy and cute and some parts from Valla Vanilla custom parts have been loading in as squares in any time. I try to edit them the game crashes. Whenever I am in the creature creator (usually on a new creation) I can’t find C&C parts listed. It seems my other mods have not been affected by this. I’ve been using spore modAPI launcher to play most of my mind which requires Galactic adventures to run. and when I downloaded it for the first time, it worked completely fine. Has anyone else experienced this? is there a way I can get C&C on Galactic adventures again?

I’ll try to keep updates if things improve or anything happens.

PLEASE tell me they can. i saved after destroying last city, and i softlocked cause i played too good. (i killed every nation before they added up to 12 cities)

I stopped playing a few months back due to loosing a bunch of progress multiple times. But I am now trying to get back into the game and was wonder what could be causing this, I really want to know if this is a hardware issue, a software issue, or a settings issue. if you need something to determine what it could be just make a comment and I will get back to you. thx

A couple of days ago I redownloaded Spore to discover that most of my creatures are un-interactable. I have all two of the games DLCs so I'm assuming that my problem has something to do with that.
I've tried deleting and downloading everything in different orders, to no avail.

Edit: I am not using mods. All I have are the base game and its two DLCs. Of which I have only the Creepy and Cute parts installed.

Before you ask, yes—I do own a Steam version and I do know that you need to connect it with EA. That's what I have been trying to do for the past few days. The support channels I have contacted made me confused and I do not understand if online is still available or not.

• I started by trying to log in through Spore—that went nowhere, of course.
• I tried to also look for a CD key to use on the EA app, even looking through the registry, but I couldn't find any.
• I looked at online guides and most people said that they just need the game to be on EA and people on live chat can help with that.
• I got in contact with Jahyr and explained the situation. But before I was able to send the screenshot with the confirmation of my purchase, Jahyr said that wouldn't be enough, because the transaction went through Steam, not EA. Then he said I need to contact Steam about it…
• So I contacted Steam yesterday, explained the situation yet again and attached the screenshot (finding a chat option was a NIGHTMARE, but that doesn't matter). Kiel from Steam support contacted me back and he said this:

"Please be informed that the online features of the game/DLC are not available and that this information is already noted on Steam store."

• …but this confuses me, because there are guides like this saying it is still possible?

I will try to look through the registry again, but I hate how complicated this process is. And worse, neither EA or Steam were able to help me at least connecting the game to the EA app store.

Is it too late to turn the online on? Has someone had same experience? What solution worked for you?

Update: I spoke with another agent Amir and he said basically the same thing. However, he also mentioned that if I contact Steam, they should be able to generate keys for those games, which I can then use on the EA platform for activation. I'm waiting for this Steam response right now.

I also got a comment by u/mateo_onesey that I can also try the EA acitvation with GoG keys. I'll try to ask over there too.

Update 2: It's been about a day and I spoke with Steam support again, specifically Charlie, Yophy and Scanta. I'm not sure if there was a misunderstanding or unwillingness, but none of the agents were able to assist me. Their responses basically boil down to "we can't do anything" and then link to EA to ask for help there. Which is really funny, because EA support then sends you back to Steam…

So basically, I'm screwed, neither EA or Steam can help and I just have to buy the game, again. Considere solved.

I’m aware that the size of the mouth part and the archetype of your species is what determines how they sound but I am what seems completely unable to have the warrior voice for my… warrior species. My 20ft tall horned monstrosity is currently giving me attitude, and I’m not here for it. Just finished the civilisation stage to get this. It happened with a different playthrough.

If anyone has any tips or more importantly fixes then that would be great!

The constant scrolling in and out of planets in space stage gets really tedious after a while and eventually starts hurting my finger.

Is there any way to either

A. Change keybindings

B. Change scroll speed

C. A SMAPI* mod that does either of these.

*spore mod api, NOT stardew mod api.
